Utah is so protected. No one wants to offend the church so no one, not even news stations want to offend the church! I sure wish there was a way to tell the members what is going on. It is an information blockade.

And this is why the missionary program is so fascinating. Imagine you are a sheltered boy / girl from Utah, and then you are sent either to the Bible belt or even to *gasp* Europe. Places where people actually look up stuff with Google and Wikipedia.
@@charlesmendeley9823 the problem is I’ve known many utahn Mormons to go back to their regular lds life and church style. At least in other states and there’s more news out there but trust me the ignorance in the church in America and sometimes globally is impressive.
I want my money back that i was tricked out of in the name of tithes and offerings.
I am thinking of all the times I have heard the phrase “oh to be a fly on the wall . . . “

I think the big problem is that there are a lot of LDS members in enforcement agencies like the FBI, SEC, and IRS. In the past they have had enough clout to sidetrack and limit investigations into the church. However, we know that a lot of educated members are becoming nuanced members or ex-Mormons. Does that mean that there are a growing number of ex-Mormons populating those agencies?
They are even populating the COB.
Oh come on guys! Please set up a show with the three of you taking a deep dive on the “future” this skimming got our attention!!

As a former mormon living in utah. Where 90ish% of the lawmakers are mormon, yes, Mormons make the laws on utah. I would love to see the top leader all arrested, but we know the church will spin it as the same thing that happened to Joseph Smith Jr.

Active member here, but cracked up at the image mentioned of President Nelson doing a perp walk.
He should be perp walked right to Nuremberg 2.0 for crimes against humanity for his email telling folks who believe he speaks with God to get injected with a formula which with his education he should have known it was unsafe. By then word was already getting out and even I knew it could be very bad and I don't even have any kind of college degree. He was a world-renowned heart surgeon for Pete's sake!

I wonder if you might do an episode regarding the importance of quietness to Mormons? That is one aspect of the Faith that appeals to me, even if I disagree with other cultural or religious characteristics of the denomination. Please consider it as a topic for discussion in a future broadcast. Thank you.
The church is really struggling. Look at the videos that are supposedly by just typical dudes, yet extol the virtues of the Church, claiming hundreds of thousands of views in just a few weeks. Check out the names of the commenters. Absolutely hilarious.

I think all religions are just going to continue to slowly wither as science explains more and more mysteries in the world and society progresses further and further pass the moral systems of these 1000 year old religions.

I also just realized, you're saying the LDS church is avoiding taxes; however, you fail to address the fact that other billionaire corporations get away with the same thing. It’s not a loophole, they were caught breaking the law. Also I have higher standards for “God’s one true church” then I do some corporation.
Would Jesus look for a loophole to keep more money in a hoard? Or would he follow the rules and be fully honest with his fellow men?
