Just like the original Final, they had to go for the blunt way of showing that the Bydo were derived from humans. Just not as blunt as the shiloeuttes.
This was actually the third Time we encounter the Ebon Eye in the R-Type Series. First in R-Type Leo, then its remake in R-Type Command and then now. I felt like i was returning to my old enemy...
@@heatmandwn-015 i know. But if you look closely at the Ebon Eye from Command, you'll see a bunch of similarities with the final boss from Leo. It's 2 small and 2 big cannons for example
@@heatmandwn-015 TECHNICALLY they can be the SAME Bydo from two different eras. The Ebon Eye could have been a more advanced and more bydofied Major from the Future that traveled back in time ⏲ with the rest of the bydo. It could be the reason why Major from R type Leo malfunctioned, because his Future self was occupying the same timeline.
There is a unofficial Command 2 sequel to download from the net, that is actually even rewritten in english (as the original is only in japanese). But i don't recommend, unless you want to see cute anime girls in a dark and sad game series like R-Type
