Prop 8 Drama - (Overturned 4 August 2010)

- Whether you are against Prop 8 or for it, I respect you and your beliefs, but I think marriage is about TWO PEOPLE. As long as no one has to suffer for it then what does it matter? What do you guys think about Prop 8? Even if you're not from Cali?

Good for you for speaking out!
Back in 2006 the only way to get a sharp image on RUclips was to post in back and white.
RUclips has HQ and HD now, but black and white has become a littleloca theme.
girl so could i ask you something
so everything you do is a script ?
do you really belive in abstinance?
because when i watch your videos
they seem so real && i want to
thank you cause when i was having some tough days last wekk your videos made me feel better
what is prop 8?
that was amazing thank you very much. people need to focus on themselves and not on whatever other people do in life!
I know its really sad. Right now is such a sad time between all the people losing jobs, losing their homes, and now rights. Its heartbreaking to be honest.
domestic partnership is still legal, right?
Word! I was trying to share that w/people weeks ago. Nicely written. An additional thought of mine is that they aren't equal either because of the aforementioned reason. Peace.
SO GLAD to see Lil Loca back again!
I think it's also worth mentioning that a culture, especially a legal culture such as ours, should want to promote, both formally (young, viable working genitals, etc.) and informally (sans genitals, elderly, etc.) the most accurate conception of marriage so that people may choose it with a proper understanding in mind.
@DYE9 Members of the church will NOT be forced to perform gay marriage ceremonies unless they want to, nor will they be forced to honor gay marriage or change their beliefs. The only thing this affects is who gets a legal marriage license.
The courts overturned Prop 187 in CA over a decade ago. I'm not aware of what "big trouble" the courts got into as a result. Do you have more information on this "big trouble" that the courts get into when they overturn a Prop in CA? I'd like to see that this "big trouble" gets handed down to the courts for them overturning Prop 187 when the VAST majority of CA voters passed it.
You rock!!
Thanks!
thank you!
this is a perfect explanation!
Watching in 2021 anyone???
you just got a new fan
:)
Love you Little Loca. You've always been the best. Thanks for sticking up for all people out there. Also, girl, you've got the greatest lipstick ever.
word. you go littleloca!
I cant believe loca is just a character. Ive been following her for 2 years on youtube and i just found out last night. I cant believe it.
THANK YOU!
The people spoke over a decade ago and passed Prop 187 by a much, much larger margin than Props 8 and 22. The courts stepped in and reversed what the vast majority of voters approved. How do you feel about that?
Damn! I so agree. I wish my parents and the rest of the cranky world would see your point of vew. You stand for yourself but at the sametime you say what you believe. That's straight up freedom of speech and it's wonderful. Keep it up.. and I hope to see you tv one day cause you're hella funny!
Miss Youngsta
AMEN Sista Loca!!! Thats right!
I appreciate you!
omq! where hav yu been
THANK YOU!!!
You're a smart one, homie.
"It isn't up to me to make sure that everybody else is living the way I think they should" No más. Nem mais! That's it, babe!
I'm not sure how you assume from my earlier posts that I think marriage is about "pumping out kids" particularly since I stated in one of those earlier posts that the entire copulation process that occurs between a male and a female in the act of mating is never affected by such conditions as sterility. So to answer your question, no, marriage is not only about procreation.
shes backkkkkk yalllllll! lol i love it
equal rights equal fights
Props, to that
Fool

I am
So Happy Your
back!!!☻
Good to see you loca :)
Speak it girl!!!! I am totally with you. Who are we to judge.
Just because two people of the same sex get married doesn't mean a child dies for it. If no one is being hurt then what does it matter in YOUR world?
AMEN!
You, my friend, is amazing.
I love LittleLoca. Wooo!
i agree!
If you have sex before you are 18 then you are gambling with your health and your future. Even if you are lucky enough not to lose, you still don't win anything.
No one who loved you would ask you to risk everything.
Abstinence is what the smart players practice.
ameeeen!
what a awesome message from a fictional character. Good Job Stevie!!!!
why are all of your videos black and white?
YES I TOTALLY AGREE!
and i'm so glad there's so many people who think the same way too.
I agree with you. If someone loves someone, they should be allowed to be together. no matter the sex. it's their choice and no one should be able to keep them apart.
That is why their is so much aggravation over this issue because one side that has something to gain sees it as being so simple whilst the others who have something to lose don't see it as being quite as straightforward as this is the option we have built up for us and you must conform with that..
Congress shall make no law respecting the freedom of association. That's the problem. Neither the states or the fed should even bother with this issue because it's beyond their power to regulate your personal associations, so long as you harm no one else, you are free to create any relationship you want with any other adult.
Solid!
An ad for King Crab Legs popped up over this video. HI-Larious.
True dat!
ur back!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
glad your back..whatevers...
Loquita, u r just the best. I come from and live in the country that was the first to legalize gay marriage.Though it didnt change gay society itself, I still consider it being a good thing :). A change will come one day. People will understand that it is not just about the law, it's about respect and caring for each other, no matter if ur gay or not. Being gay and believing in God myself I just dig what you say. Love and respect from Holanda...
I heard on the radio that in Cali, it is STILL legal to get married to you're cousin!!!
- but you can't marry someone because you're the same sex.
wow
Amen mi hermana!!!!
"WhAAAtEvers!"
Calify, I think you're missing the point, which was pretty concise. I find it so interesting that for Prop 8, you said the people have spoken, let's move on. And yet, you won't answer me when I've repeatedly asked if that was your stand on Prop 187. The courts reversed what the people said and overturned it. If your believe is that how the people spoke is how it should be, why didn't you tell the courts to stay out of Prop 187? It's really a simple question,
i'm feeling you in this video... =)
HAAAAAA! Littlelocas gots religions foo! Loved the vid!
that was deep.
i like the video and you seem like an awesome person, but i think its hillarious when you say "whatevers".
if judgement day is not for you, then don't judge those who object other's lifestyles!
thank you.
What's with the fake accent, is this your audition tape?
awesome vid :)
I Love You Even More, Thanks For That Video.
You tell em, girl!! I'm with you all the way! People need to focus on themselves and stop gettin all up into other people's business and trying to control their lives instead of controlling their own!
@Jocharris: Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.

I totally agree with you! thank you!
u are awesome!
these comments are towards glitterjulia2, not littleloca!
WORD!
How about heterosexual couples who are married, and believe that the concept of "marriage" should stay as is? Do they have equal rights? I ask, other than changing your last name, what does marriage provide for a gay couple?
amen lil loca
you're so right.
I completely agree.
Great response!
Now that Prop 8 overturned, what's next?
Ok so excuse my ignorance, but now that Prop 8 overturned gays can marry right?
This is my question, does this mean they can marry "civilly"(civil marriage), or does this also mean that they can marry through church as well?
You see, that's my only problem;gay marriage in church.
I don't dislike gays at all and I don't have a problem with them getting married civilly but in church? I don't know about that.
Can anyone help me please.
I totally agree with Prop 8. Marriage is a sacred bond between man and woman.
This. Marriage should be about two people who love each other. That's all that matters.
"Why is it that, as a culture, we are more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands?" - Ernest Gaines
OMG LOVE YOU!
Interesting view of this you have.
I'm not sure what you mean, clarify please. My point is that legal "contract" that comes from a marriage license. And w/that license the ability for heterosexual couples to claim their partners in taxes, etc... Maybe allow them to "unionize (for lack of a better word)" and legally change their name, power of attorney, etc...just not the same tax claims, and also for the parental/custody issues that might arise. Just my opinion.
Glad that decision was stayed. Prop 8 is still on the books, lulz!
There is a very simple separation of church and state. Apparently states who still ban gay marriage haven't realized that yet.
That's my opinion. :]
Loca your awesome!
very well said. you hit it right on the mark.
Nice to see someone w/some sense. Well written.
Speak the truth homegirl! Agree with you!!!!!
TRUE !
I agree.
(continued) some feel that the govt. is going to far and telling us what we can and can't do. but then some people don't complain about living in a safe neighborhood. govt. controls that to a certain extent. divorces are at a higher rate because people suddenly stopped appreciating the sacredness of marriage. prop 8 to some extent is keeping the word marriage to what it should be. BTW I love ur vids sorry so long
exactly.
your accent has turned into a southern country jamble mixed with some latino euphemisms. you still da bomb tho girl
this is why i love loca
So true
Let's not cloud Humanity issues with Sexuality issues.
DAM RIGHT GURL! i hellaa agree with u!
let ppl live their own dam lives nd leave em alone!
What ever happend to church and state don't mix?
so true
