- Welcome to addicted to watches. Today we’re looking at a watch that is very special to me for a few reasons. It was the first watch that I ever paid retail price for buying new as my collection grew and has become a very sought-after watch. It’s the OG presage limited edition that kicked them all off. This is the Seiko Cocktail time SRPC01, also known as the starlight.

I really love this watch. I wanted to get this at release but I couldn't at the time. Can't do anything about it, but isn't it just frustrating with circumstances outside of your control...
They are still around here and there. Hopefully you can find one in the future

@@addicted_to_watches yeah i wanna get some blue AR coating on it and a tangerine strap with silver stitches.
I really loved this watch but I couldn't bring myself to pay above retail for this since, I already had another Presage with a different dial. I bought a Citizen NB1060-12L, the dial is mesmerising in that as well and it houses a movement which is comparable to Seiko's 6L movement.
That citizen has a beautiful dial. If I didn't have this Seiko I'd have probably bought that too 💪

Beautiful watches, well reviewed. I'm hoping to pick up the Mockingbird version before they disappear, the green dial with the gold second hand is perfect.
Some constructive criticism, you could do with giving the watches you're reviewing a good clean before filming so you do them justice.
I hope you find one. Unfortunately when it comes to cleaning, a lot of that dust is under the crystal. I had to send it back under warranty to Seiko and it was like this when I got it back. By the time I got these Marco shots and noticed, it was too late

It definitely is. Next time it's due for a service I'll make sure it gets cleaned properly
