Hahahahaha. That's a new one! I've gotten "you sound like Tony Stark" (which I don't get at all) and a couple others but not Christian Slater. Thanks for watching!
Got about the same miles but dying injectors, going to swap them here soon with a set that has half the miles for cheap and ill give her a test while im at it.
I've never had an issue getting to any of them. I use a thin-walled 1/4" drive deep well 10mm socket to get them loose and a piece of rubber tubing to pull them out of the hole.
It sure will! You have to break them loose, then pull the socket off while the plug is still engaged with the threads, then finish it with the rubber tubing.
In the beginning of the video you stated Ford wants to see 400 PSI of pressure per cylinder none of your cylinders were at 400 or close to it.. you still selling engine?
I did not on this truck, but on another test, I did need a different adapter. Check out "Project Frankenstroke - Part 3" where I list the adapter I used.
Thanks for the info on the grease whip.
First video I've seen of yours. You have not shown your face. So, at this moment. The feel is Diesel work with Christian Slater.

Great video, I didn’t know Eugene Levy was a Diesel Mechanic. You voices sound similar. Great vid and explanation!
Haha, you're the second person in about 2 weeks to say that! It must be the truth.
Keep the good ole 7.3 ripping! she would be a beast fosure upgraded!
Thanks! I don't intend to be without one any time soon!

Yep, this one needed injectors as well, and swapping them made a big difference. It's not a small investment, but well worth it.
Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching the video.
How to get to num 8? Take off valve rocker?

@@diymechanictv1233 exactly what I did!! That ten socket will get stuck if you unthread enough of the plug

What size tubing? I have to go diagnose a misfire in the field on one of these.
7.tree is one of the easiest motors to ever work on ...easy peasy
which is the least of the compression
In the beginning of the video you stated Ford wants to see 400 PSI of pressure per cylinder none of your cylinders were at 400 or close to it.. you still selling engine?
I have a "spare" in reserve. 😉
26 degree ambient.... Within 40psi.... he could sell it as like new LOL.
Did you need an additional fitting to make the test tool?
I did not on this truck, but on another test, I did need a different adapter. Check out "Project Frankenstroke - Part 3" where I list the adapter I used.
