I remember a different HFY story about luck. Lss any human on a ship increases the probability of unbelievably lucky things happening to it. The affect is cumulative with the number of humans. Effect only found after a war.
When the fire the talent erasing thing it misses the humans completely and is somehow redirected back at the people that fired it. Edit: Ok, so I got that prediction wrong, but that would have been a hilarious twist.
Imagine if it launched, hit Terra and removed lucky status from 99% of all humans, yet by sheer RNG, it unlocked a second human trait rather than remove one for the last 1%, and it was a dominant genome.
Speaking as a Canadian with relatives in Australia, I think they would view our climates and wildlife as a large part of the reason that Earth is classified as a Deathworld. I'd also suggest that they take a look at Tornado Alley and Japan for further reasons.
We Finn's would turn the tech into a portable hand held sauna machine, inducers for the sauna part of the experience and the inhibitors for the post sauna (or between sauna sessions) cooling off 😂
Like orks? Orks think that ships and vehicles that are painted red are faster, thus they are. Orks think that Purple things are invisible, thus they are when an Ork observes them. Ork can die from being shot if they think they are being shot (There is a story of a group of imperial guards that ran out of ammo and verbalised "bang, bang, bang" to kill orks... Orks bend reality to what they think is real...).
Us Finn's would probably love the enemy's weapons to be honest, with the inducer we'd build some sort of high-tech sauna's with it and use the inhibitors for the post sauna cooling off normally done by jumping in a lake, ice hole, pool, roll around in the snow or in the absence of said options take a shower or just cool down outside (perfect for a cramped space ships etc where building a proper sauna with a swimming pool or showers would take too much space and/or resources)... I can already see with my mind's eye the enemy approaching a bunker they've been bombarding with an inducer cannon all day only to find a group of sweaty naked guys who tell at them to close the door to not let out the heat 😂 Then the enemy trying to use their handheld inhibitors on them only for the guys to exclaim "hey, that's actually pretty nicely refreshing! Now the only thing I need is an ice cold beer! You guys have any?" After which the enemies just back away with a look of utter confusion and terror on their faces before running away screaming from these insane monsters that actually like and seek such extreme temperatures 🤣 I personally love going to the sauna on a cold winter day and rolling around in the snow between sessions in the sauna, haven't done ice hole swimming since I was a child though, just don't enjoy that type of cold anymore 😅 but standing outside naked in around -10°C for a few minutes between sauna sessions? LOVE IT!❤️
28°C = 82°F 30°C = 86°F The temperatures mentioned is core body temperature not air temperature. Human body temperature is about 99°F. 86°F thirteen lower is serious but not fatal hypothermia.
@@calvingreene90 Us Finn's with our sauna's and ice hole swimming would probably just find the experience pretty enjoyable at first and be able to withstand both extremes pretty well for longer periods of time than average as especially those who sauna daily and do ice hole swimming daily during winters have basically conditioned their bodies to withstand these sorts of temperature changes really well 😁 although in the long term either one would be really uncomfortable. Even your average Finn could withstand both pretty well, but the heat would be worse in the long run as our bodies are really used to low temperatures for long periods of time but the higher temperatures we don't usually do for long periods of time (and our weather even in summer doesn't tend to get super hot) without at least short breaks to cool off (by jumping in a lake, ice hole swimming or rolling around in snow for example, all things I personally have done to cool off between sauna sessions 😁)
I liked the HFY where aliens have gods but humans apparently dont, the high priests ask their gods about going to war with the humans and the gods all say yes, then the goddess who has never responded, Chaos, lady luck herself, finally speaks and all aliens here her words. I don't like your odds.
The part that they miss is that if humans know about it there luck turns sour, or that have to believe something will cause good or bad luck
You gotta pray to saint shia labeouf and “just do it”

The first and last stories show why humanity can be viewed as dangerous. I would love to see how they would view Australia or Canada.

I mentioned this in another vid. "What if this are the way there are because that how we want it and if enough ppl want it that way then it is so"

The universe has seen what happens to things that anger humans and nopes right away.
