I once read that in the race to the South Pole, Amundsen relied uniquely on dogs. Scott took machines, ponies and dogs because he loved dogs and never got over the trauma of having to kill and eat them during a previous expedition. I suspect you may be more Scott than Amundsen Matti. Splendid photography and stunning Aurora. Thanks for posting.

Dear Matti, thx for sharing your videos, I really enjoy them. I would love to go your direction one day although I am not sure if I can deal with the cold. Living in the Netherlands we don”t have such cold winters anymore. Do you think that everyone can do this? Best regards, Franc

Hi Matti, Stina. Great vid. Beautiful lights. Yeah, we are not even an atom in the scale of the out there worlds. When do you generally start your tours back up in the fall? November or so? Enough snow then.

Did you build the cabin? How long ago?
Beginning @:43 seconds - I especially liked the snow covered trees in the forest near the beginning of this video.
"Not to cold for "us"; not too warm for the "dogs", just perfect!"
The Northern Lights, something unique & just for your part of our world.
Thanks to your effort, equipment, & time, I'm able to enjoy a part of Planet Earth that I've only read about in books.
Thank you for the names of your guests at the end.
Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.

We don't own any of the cabins. We rent them, so no, we haven't built them. Happy to hear that we can spread some joy and perspective from our part of the world. /Stina & Matti

11.24 I'm not 100% sure but it looks like you're wearing the same boots as I bought. The first winter I lived here I just had random boots and I was freezing a lot in the beginning, watched some random video 😉"KEEP YOUR FEET WARM IN WINTER" I also bought a lot of wool socks and underwear and a down coat long enough to cover my ass, some mittens instead of cloves and this winter I didn't freeze.
Edit I bought Jörn boots they look really heavy but are actually really light and warm.
