Store-bought crab does not have all of these extra ingredients, and even eggs are not necessary because it gives a very unpleasant smell. My method, which I have adopted for years, is a cup and a half of flour, a quarter cup of oil, a quarter cup of sugar, a few drops of vanilla, and a pinch of salt, and we mix all of this with a cup and a half of water. Or two cups, depending on the quality of flour, and mix well to get the texture of the crab and the most delicious taste, but on the condition that we use a frying pan that does not stick to the food, or wipe the frying pan with drops of oil to avoid sticking.
