A clear explanation for precision rectifiers. (A small detail. At the beginning you are showing four diodes in a mixer configuration. Not in a rectifier configuration.)
Some newer digital multimeters just digitize the AC waveform and do all the calculations in DSP. That's particularly true for the ones that can do power measurement like the Mooshimeter.
You missed the title: Precision rectifiers - i.e. analog circuits Moreover. Have you noticed? Mooshimeter: 4kHz analog bandwidth for most measurements, Better than 1.0% accuracy AC for harmonic content below 1kHz. Big deal!
1. Is it the type of diode important? The simulation result of schottky diode gives very bad output. 1N4148 much better why? 2. How do I make output to filtered smooth DC suitable for ADC measurement. R-C filter or D-C filter?
Diode type is not an issue. Are you sure the schematics is correct? If so you may have some issues with diode acceptance or leakage. Send me the schematics and simulation results to sby@bgu.ac.il
I am learning with this reseacher and he is a good teacher. I like so much his videos. Congratulations Sam and thank you.
Thanks
Thanks always for releasing a valuable knowledge.
👍😊
Thank you. Very interesting and clearly explained.
Thanks.

You have keen eyes. Thanks for pointing out the drawing mistake. I hope others will see your correction.
I will put a note in the RUclips page
