I think Yibo's explanation about the 'reasonable' stuff is quite right. I didn't like the fact that they were trying to invalidate his point. He's right, because when you get into a relationship- you're supposed to be equal partners, you should get to communicate and understand one another. It's not healthy to always let someone off the hook just because you're in a relationship with them. Being in a relationship means you get to help each other grow into a better person.

it's true, Yibo doesn't play mind games. Because of that, sometimes he can even come across as rude or uncaring but once you look past that and understand that he is just being honest, such person, in my eyes, is much more desirable than someone who have sweet fake words.

I think Yibo is currently enjoying doing what he loves in his life. Romance is probably the last of his priority. He reminds me of myself. Romantic relationships aren't the only goal in life. We'll meet someone at some point and if we don't, then we don't. Yibo keeps it realistic and I hope he doesn't feel the need to be in a relationship due to pressure. He's young and he can enjoy life whatever he wants it to be.

It's the first time I've come across an actor like Yibo. because it is very rare to find traits and characters like him. although sometimes quite surprised to hear it 😂, but I see he is just trying to tell the truth. he doesn't want to be fake. maybe for some women, a bit strange and not romantic. what I believe, usually a man who is indifferent is a man who is actually very caring. it's just that Yibo does or conveys it in a different way. If I were straight, Yibo would be the perfect guy for me. His approach to relationships is literally me lol. We have no time for games or tests. this is what I really like about Yibo, I mean with his personality, you can easily read wang yibo's aura, if he's currently in love or not. He's very straightforward and honest about his feelings, I know for sure, if he was asked about this questions again in the future and answered very softly a bit more personal, then we can easily say if he's in love or not🤭. His actions speak louder than anything, i just love him for that.😍

The reason no one is getting a “right” answer out of Yibo is because they are playing games. Just saying, “I haven’t eaten anything yet.” isn’t going to prompt, “Alright, let’s go out to eat,” from him. His thought process is very A to B. “If you’re hungry, eat.” He’s gonna ignore all of the social hints. He’s either not going to answer because an open ended statement doesn’t really prompt an answer or he’ll tell you to go by yourself because no pairing was created by your statement. On top of that, what you want (to go out to eat together) isn’t directly stated, so he doesn’t have a clue what you want.
The initial statement (a) needs to be a question, (b) needs to create a pairing, AND (c) needs to directly state what you want. Example, “I’m hungry; can we go get some delicious food?” (A) the question prompts him to answer you, so he can’t ignore you like he might for a open ended statement. (B) the use of “we” naturally creates a pairing and tells him you want him to go with you. (C) “can we go get some delicious food” is a direct statement of what you want: delicious food together.
And that trait is very common among very smart people. That's why I love him so much!!

People like to use them by playing games, and they get burned a couple of times which makes it harder to interact with people like that comfortably. That’s why he gets shy and awkward around people who play mind games but is perfectly comfortable around his DDUp brothers. They don’t play mind games with him in real life, just on the show as a joke.

You gotta watch out for those strong silent type. They’re usually thinkers and observant of people. They don’t like people playing mind games and they can read you by just watching you. He seems like the type of person who would want a girl who is not clingy and who’s independent and thinks for herself. Shares same values as him, and similar background (artist-dance, singer etc) and someone who’s willing to be adventurous. He’s still young so he likes to try out things. He’s pretty straightforward and doesn’t like to waste his time which I agree. With his profession, he can’t afford to. He’s too busy with his schedule.
The most important thing is with his career and fame, he would need his partner to be someone who is independent on their own because he would not and could not be there for that person all the time. However he also need to learn to adapt and compromise better if he value his relationship and wanted it to last. An independent person also means they could easily live without you too, he needs to put that in his mind that they are making a choice to stay together.
