A wonderful video Dave of the Peak Forest quarries area Buxton. My older brother Bob started his driving career with EWS at the Peak Forest depot back in 1999. He said it was a great place to learn how to control a 3000 ton freight train up and down the steep gradients there. The diagrams used to take as far as Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, Derby and many other places. After 3 years he managed to get a transfer to Crewe then Bescot which is the depot he retired from. He drove the the Royal train on several occasions too. Cheers.❤
