Violet Flowergarden inspired me to play star stable. She has been apart of my childhood for so long and I will never forget her. Thank you Violet I miss you 🕊️
The youtuber that introduced me to SSO was Elizabeth Riverland. She had a pretty big channel with a few viral videos (by SSO youtube standards.) unfortunately she has deleted her channel now but you can still see some traces of it around. Thankfully Stella Seahaven who has her friend and club mate kept her channel so there is still videos from that era
Thank you for this video! I’d love to mention Violet Flowergarden a little bit more.. I think her impact on the youtube community was greater than we can imagine and her passing away about 3 months ago broke so many people just because they (and me as well) grew up with her. I’m writing this comment just to pay tribute to her and her pure soul, she was so young and yet she was taken away way too early. Rest in peace
You're right. I wasn't into the whole Sso RUclips thing for too long but Violet was definitely a very big influence. I only heard about her passing a few days ago and it got me really chocked up. Even if she wasn't a big part of my world, she was still part of my SSO journey and it feels wrong knowing that she's gone. Rest in peace Violet 💜
ohh angel I know if Violet saw this it would make her so extremely happy. ♡ She definitely appreciated your support and loved her fanbase so much, thank you so much for leaving this comment because when talking about SSO RUclips Violet MUST be mentioned. Her impact on the community was massive, and I definitely label her as my number one inspiration. ♡ Thank you so much for your comment and I hope your days have been very bright lately, the loss of an idol is never easy. ♡
im soooo happy you mentioned northena, to me shes probably what alice is to you, her content is so so special and i honestly really miss her as a part of the community
OMG How couldn't I ... Northena has always been such a big name in the community, I started watching her when she did that one animation about the legend of Jorvik. Literally getting chills talking about it .. it was so inspiring!! I was so happy when she started uploading more around 2015, I miss her so dearly but I hope she is doing wonderful wherever she is. ♡ Thank you so much for your comment! ♡
For real!! :D I remember when everyone tried to recreate the trailer frame by frame on RUclips, simpler times.. and of course the 2010 trailer!! Looks very close to the old Star Stable CD games :o Thank you for your lovely comment!! ♡
Oh wow thank you for the mention! I really look back on this era of my life in SSO fondly, it was such an exciting and experimental time for the community. I'm proud to have left a footnote on it and keep the memories alive. I still play too, just a lot less often because of life as an adult, but SSO and its community will always hold a place in my heart! ♥
Ahhh you mentoning Merezone and Seepran literally almost got me into tears from nostalgia. i'm also finnish and remember them being SO cool back then. I remember i even got to meet them in the game :D Thank you for this documentary!
OMG THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! ♡♡ :D I'm so glad there is someone who remembers them, they are such talented individuals. If I remember correctly there was even an IRL Finnish SSO meetup in 2016! I don't remember if it was hosted by them or not, but I just remember seeing all the vlogs and it looked like so much fun!! ♡ Thank you so much for your lovely comment!! ♡
@@helIokitti OMG YES!!! I remember being so jealous of the people that got to go to the meetup as it was super hyped up by them and looked super fun. Unfortunately I live in the northern part of Finland and wasn’t allowed to go that far for a horse game meetup with complete strangers :D
@@lauraluukkonen3387 OMGG Im so sorry you weren't allowed to go!! I really hope one day you'll be able to go to an SSO meetup, Finland is home to the most talented SSO players of all time. ♡ I wish I couldve gone too LOL
YESS Merezone and Seepran are our own SSO legends ❤ (and Merezone even has made videos of Starshine Legacy back when it was the craze, which is absurd to think about now lmaoo) Watching them play alone and with their friends and having fun in SSO was my childhood 😍 But now when Seepran has stopped making videos altogether and Merezone's weekly update videos seem to be kinda forced, and more of an obligation than a genuine enjoyment of playing the game, it doesn't feel the same... 😔
I may never have played Star Stable myself but watchin documentaries like this is so interestin, I get to learn about a whole other world that I never experienced
This comment means so much to me!! I'm so glad to hear you were engaged through the whole documentary even if you haven't experienced the SSO universe! This is a huge compliment, thank you so much for your kind words!! ♡ :'D
A SSO role-playing video randomly popped up in my YT feed 30min ago I clicked out of complete curiosity, and I have now fallen into a very adorable yet confusing rabbit hole. I had no clue this game even existed, and the community seems pretty sizeable. Now I'm here😂 Someone help.
Welcome to the SSO community angel!! ♡ This game is so rich in history and is home to some of the most creative gaming content creators you'll find on RUclips!! ♡ Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my documentary :D I hope you enjoy your stay here!! ♡
The RUclipsr that helped me to download star stabl was honeyheartc! She was truly my childhood. I watched her every day! I’d love her new horse videos! She inspires me!🐴❤
im swedish myself and ive played since 2015, and im happy to say haley rainstorm still posts almost every day and i watch all her videos just like i have for years, shes amazing 🥲🤍
HALEY IS ICONIC!!! It warms my heart to see all of these people who have been playing for even longer than me still continue to remain active in the community as well as in the game!!♡ I'm usually still poking around her blog sometimes :3 Thank you so much for your kind comment!! ♡
Omg I just had to laugh 😂😂 "Thanks Norton" I swear I know so many players, myself included who back in 2014-2017 had problems with SSO and their anti-virus program 😂
OMG I'm so glad I'm not the only one. To think I could've experienced SSO's 2nd birthday and gotten arguably their best birthday set ever!! -_- Thank you so much for your hilarious comment LOL ♡
Me and my middle school best friend started playing star stable around the same time, and every weekend, we had sleepovers where we watched Alice Winterbells videos for hours (even though our english wasn't good enough to actually understand most of her videos lol). Old star stable youtube brings back so many happy memories
AWW This is so cute!! I totally used to do the same thing, instead of movies I'd stream SSO RUclips on vacations and sleepovers!! ♡ Thank you so much for your lovely comment. ♡
I found out about star stable back in 2012. I watched a video i believe her name on RUclips in Cin. its one of her older videos. I'm so glad i had chance to play the old sso.
@@blazect5935 I watched Alice as well in 2012 but it was after cin introduced me to the game. ruclips.net/video/8GLY_P8wNfw/видео.html . I loved Alice winterbell star stable series. She’s the reason why I used to create sso stories in my head lol.
OMG That is so awesome you discovered the game in 2012!! I love reminiscing with older players, and Cin is a LEGEND. I think they still make SSO videos occasionally, but they are truly one of the ogs. I used to have pink hair in the game because of them!! Thank you so much for your lovely comment!! :D ♡
Thank you for the trip down memory lane, i agree... Time flies! I wish ( and have requested to sso ) that some sort of Vanilla Starstable is created. A separate game that's just like the old version, quests, graphics and so on. Anyhow I'm glad and feel lucky to have gotten to experience the old starstable along with the old community even if it's just gonna be memories. Memories that we all share! Thanks again and take care
Oh my gosh, a vanilla SSO would make the community SO happy. Players who prefer the newer SSO would even try it out, I think it would be super healthy for the game's reputation and give players more variety even when the modern SSO is lacking. ♡ I'm so happy you got to play the old SSO!! And i'm so lucky I get to share these memories with players like you! :) Thank you so much for your comment and you take care too :3 ♡
@@helIokitti There are people who have the star stable online client from like 2016 and stuff. I don't know how they do it but apparently it is actually somewhat possible, just really hard to do.
I found Star Stable from Seri Pixel Biologist back in 2015. I went on to become one of her moderators for a while and those were very fond days. To me, Seri and Star Stable are synonymous and I owe my fondness to Seri (she was such a positive influence in my life) that as a result, Star Stable holds that fondness as well. I'm now a 37 year old woman with a career and a family, and I still find time throughout the week to log on and tend to my horses
OMG I did the same thing... what's even more ironic is that at the time I mailed "her" I didn't know that you could only mail people in your region, so I was in the North American region .. and ended up mailing an "Alice Winterbell" from North America :'D I hope she at least saw my fangirly comments on her videos LOL ♡ Thank you so much for your comment
I relate to everything you said in this video, I watched Star Stable videos of the 2013 - 2015 era a lot, my favorite were the music videos... words can't explain how much i miss that era. And I don't say this only because of nostalgia, back then videos were unique and fun, now most of SSO youtube is similar and has lots of negativity from both sides (the content creator and the community).
I hate to say it but I agree!! The 2013-2015 era you mentioned was really when the community was in their creative peak, I know that most creators consider SSO movies and music videos to be cringe now but in my honest opinion ... those two mediums brought out the creativity of these RUclipsrs. I don't mind training videos and update videos, but I wish we could blend in something a little different!! I think if more people were inspired to create channels, we could see a dramatic shift in what's popular! I completely agree too... I haven't completely sunk my teeth in the recent negative climate of the content creator scene and community scene but I am learning more and more! Especially the white knight vs dark knight debates.. I wish the company didn't enable this behavior either .. Thank you so much for your amazing comment. ♡ :)
How I first got introduced to Star Stable (personally) was the ads. And no, I don't mean the insta ads. I mean genuine ads. On everywhere you looked (ex. lets say ur downloading something. There's ofc going to be some kind of ad on the top of the page and bottom)
I know exactly what you are talking about!! LOL They used to for real just take a screenshot on the game and then slap the SSO logo on it, but it worked!! My heart was always happy when I saw those ads, one of them I particularly remember was someone riding the gen 1 Palomino Arabian in Jarlaheim!! ♡ Omggg remembering these made me so happy, thank you so much for your comment!! ♡
@@RimFaxxe Omg .. THE COMMERCIALS!! I got to see an SSO commercial once in America on Cartoon network .. I think it was one of their commercials filmed in real life!
Brilliant video, you hit a lot of my childhood with SSO youtube especially alice winterbell, violet flowergarden and grace riverson💗I think without them I probably wouldn't have thought about doing youtube and discovered everyone else I've either met through here today or earlier down the line of actually motivating me to start youtube on here. Even though a lot of old stuff like the let's plays, some series, meps, etc have died down due to now mainly sso youtube being over either shopping sprees, talking about sso stuff, etc, back in the yee old days of the golden era of SSO there was a lot youtube wise for SSO. Fun fact: the second? randomness of Alice winterbell's randomness series was where I learned my first cussword💀Besides that other fun facts I was originally gonna be a speedpaints channel with some old commentary playing stuff (still up on my channel🗿). But, yeah I can't wait for Part 2 on this since so far the timeline's really good☺
AAH It is so surreal to see you in my comment section, Moon!!! ♡ You are a HUGE inspiration to me!! :D I'm so glad Alice, Violet and Grace inspired you to do RUclips .. you literally keep SSO RUclips alive with your videos. ♡ AND IF YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT THAT ONE SOUTH PARK BIT ALICE DID THAT IS SO FUNNY!!! I'm so glad you watched that video when you were younger because your humor is literally unmatched now... I enjoy your art so much too. ♡ They just add to the charm of your videos!! Thank you so much for your support and I can't wait to share part 2 with you!! :D ♡
Thank you for making this documentary! Hearing about people like Northena and Alice which I haven’t heard the name of in a long time, and thinking of those who inspired my childhood like Megara really brings back memories.
omg i remember archie, im pretty sure it was announced years ago that he'd parted with the company. i think the community aspect of sso has been ruined with open server changes, because i too remember back in 2013/2014 on night star where i knew mostly everyone's name, and omg red hearts legacy being a thing was an actual cultural reset, i'm so glad that they're back today even though i used to hate them back in the day (for no real reason too! they were and are just cool)
AAAH I must have missed the Archie announcement!! I'm so sad he didn't stay for longer, but wherever he is now I hope he's doing great!! ♡ I literally can watch a 2014 video filmed on Wind Star and recognize everyone. I sometimes even see myself!! I miss when the community wasn't so .. come and go, like new players register and get bored very quickly and inevitably ditch the game .. and old players who have practically been neglected! Everyone used to have a reason to log on every day! D: I'm so glad RHL is back, they were totally the standard for SSO clubs back in the day!! I wasn't cut out for big clubs like that though back in the day, I was a HUGE club hopper LOL Thank you so so much for your nostalgic comment angel!! :'D ♡
I tried searching for her. I found old an deviant art account. An old Instagram account, but nothing that told me anything. I member her saying that she didn't want to talk about Star stable, she didn't want to talk about her old channel, so I assumed she was just done with that chapter of her life. Seeing images of her in modern sso is interesting to me. I guarantee it's not the same account she had previously but I just wanted to know what happened to alice. Now seeing what you've uncovered, it makes me feel a sense of fulfilment.
You're so welcome angel!! ♡ Thank you so much for supporting this documentary!! :D OMGG I remember Cookie SwirlC I used to watch her SSO lets plays all the time!! She had the cutest voice! :3 ♡
Oh my gosh .. Those movies used to be HUGE back in the day!! I think I may know which one you're talking about if it was around 2013-2014 .. What a lovely way to begin your SSO journey!! :3 Thank you so much for your comment. ♡
Loved the Video! I also remember SSO from the very first trailer. It was... wild. Alice Winterbell was such an inspiration, her editing in her last videos was beyond the standards back then. Its insane. Time really does fly fast. As a past member of Seven Star Stable Girls I must say... it was insane. The feeling when you got to join was incredible. But looking back- I wouldn't recommend it again xD But everyone in the RUclips Editing Community knew each other. That was just great. For me THE editors of the "new gen" editing in 2015 were Evelina Mclake and Jenny Mcforest. It was such a wild time lol I really miss the big family we had on youtube. It really just slowly slips away.
MELISSAAA!! Thank you so much for your support angel!! ♡♡ :D Ironically, when I was teasing this documentary I asked my community who their favorite SSO RUclipsr is and someone mentioned you. :) it's so surreal seeing such a legend in my comment section!! I loved how Alice incorporated edited pictures into her videos!! It was so creative and like you said .. way beyond the standards!! Especially in her series Miracle, all of the picture edits she includes makes the show SO immersive!! ♡ I'm so glad you had that opportunity to join SSSG, you truly made the channel special!! ♡ I can see where you are coming from though! It must be kind of straining to have to push out a video every week, it takes me weeks just to make one video LOL Evelina is totally one of my biggest inspirations, mainly just because she always hosted the most ICONIC MEPs !! Like Bad machine, Flesh, Any other way and Sassy!! ♡ She also had a very distinct style and I could always tell which part was hers in an MEP. ♡ Jenny basically INVENTED the winter hats, I remember when she was becoming wildly popular in 2015 and everyone started using slow motion/Twixtor and dressing their characters up in the giant black glasses + short hair + winter hat combo!! ICONICCC!! ♡ She was SUCH a big inspo for me!! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my documentary and leave a comment, I'm so honored!! ♡
@@helIokitti Damnn this means a lot to me, thank you Kitti!!! SSG had some other problems than stress by itself, but I appreciate that so so many people enjoyed the Channel and their/our videos!! Anytime, keep up your amazing work!!
OMG It's so cool meeting someone who started playing in 2012!! I wish I could've started a year earlier, because so much had changed when I started playing in 2013!! Thank you so much for your comment, I love reminiscing with fellow Alice Winterbell fans!! ♡
as a north carolinin star stable player i also understand the lack of community. Im sad i was unaware of how close that event was in 2019, i so would've loved to go to that. I hope they do more events like that in the future. I started playing in 2016 so im glad to get more of a background in sso youtube!
I remember that first trailer. My account on SSO was created around that time, before you could play the game, but you could register with usernames (unlike today, where your character name is your username). I didn't start playing until much later though! Alice Winterbell made some memorable videos which I loved watching. I particularly enjoyed the video called "Just dance" because it had Star Academy footage, and back then it was not common knowledge that Star Academy was part of Jorvik! As always, very nice journalism in this video. 😄
I never knew that actually OMG That is so interesting!!! I'd love to have seen a world without the character names LOL ♡ That is such a good Alice video btw .. I loved when she would incorporate all of the CD games into one amazing music video. That is actually how I found out about the CD games!! :D I loved her "Let it rock" video that had all of the Jorvik games .. the song still remains on my playlist today!! Thank you so so much for your support on my documentaries, I love seeing your comments pop up!! ♡
i remember as a kid i loved watching merezone and seepran play sso and that also got me in to the game. i was also so happy when i actually met them in game when sso still wasnt as big as it is now. i still have the screenshots of that day saved
Gosh this brought back so many memories! I started playing SSO in December of 2012. I finally convinced my parents to buy me life time In may of 2013. I fell in love with this game immediately. As someone who never had the privilege of being able to ride horses regularly, starstable allowed me to live that fantasy. Even as an adult in my early 20s I still have a deep love for this game, and its story line. I remember watching Alice winterbell, Grave Riverson, and violet. I still continue to play when I get a chance, and can’t wait to see how this game continues to grow.
I know right!! I wish that these RUclipsrs mentioned in the documentary were still here!! Looking back on their videos I truly do miss all of the old, charming elements that this game used to have. ♡ Thank you so much for your lovely comment!!
Oh thank you so much for keeping SSO cinema alive angel!! ♡ Your movies are stunning!! Keep up the great work!! :D ♡ Thank you so much for your kind words as well. ♡
I know right!! ♡ I absolutely love the SSO RUclips community, even if I don't know everyone personally I really do consider them my family. ♡ I love being able to share a platform with such creative individuals who have the same passion as I do! Thank you so much for your support, and I can't wait to share part 2 with you!! :D ♡
As a German StarStable Player: Zaaap and Alicia snowdaughter were THE starstable youtubers. Later on Nalita joined with her iconic stories. Aishh, german starstable youtub was so iconic. I really miss it
Man I wish I could find the video that got me into SSO. I don't remember what is was called or who it was by. It was just someone running around doing stuff in the game with their friend who was on a black gen 2 quarter. I wish I could find it again and tell them they're the reason I've spent almost 7 years on this game now 💀 Edit: AAHHH ARCHIE!! I remember him! I was wondering when he would come up. I wonder where he's been, I miss him
This makes my heart so happy, you motivate me to continue making documentaries and improving every day!! ♡ Thank you so much for your support angel :D ♡
Alice Winterbell, Grace Riverson, Dakota Longwright ( especially her "Uninvited" episodes ) and Nelly ( I can't remember username correctly ) were my daily binge of sso content. I miss them :/
ive been playing since 2017 and seeing the continous updates to characters like mrs holdsworth/justin and environments like valedale village is so cool and interesting. I hope they keep it going. Not to mention the AMAZING job theyve done in new horse designs - the dynamics are so cool
I watched Merezone and seepran religiously, they were some of the only finnish youtubers who actually posted sso. I still sometimes watch meres ssl gameplays, even tho i have the actual copies myself!
I love hearing feedback from the newer generation of players, I appreciate it so much!! ♡ Thank you for your kind comment, my heart always melts when people compliment my voice .. you truly made my day!! Thank you so so much!! :D ♡
I started playing SSO back in 2015. I was a horse girl back in that time, and I absolutely loved that game, and begged my parents to buy me Star Rider. But unfortunately, they never did, and because the email address was not confirmed, it was not possible. But I loved making roleplays all by myself, because after finishing all of my quests, there was nothing for me to do. The nostalgia, that only star rider's could jump with their horses made me so angry at the time. But although I made a new SSO account, I don't play SSO that often anymore, and I'm not a star rider (I only played with codes) and I do not plan buying lifetime either, because the state of the game, it's really not worth it, I often watch videos about it, and the drama's surrounding it. Without SSO, I wouldn't start to learn English in a young age, because I liked to watch English RUclipsr's (mostly Honey, if I remember correctly) and thanks to that, I could start learning English in a quite young age. So SSO gave me so much creativity, so much happiness, so many people, I made friends with, that I can never forget
I'm so glad you found this documentary nostalgic!! Cin and Northena were trailblazers for SSO RUclips!! Their content was so inspiring, I miss their SSO content dearly!! Thank you so much for your lovely comment. ♡
I started playing the game after watching stacy play sso. It was totally random video since i was never into horses at all.. but yeah i straight up downloaded and played the game. It was 2016 ish as i remember
I was always aware of the game as i was quite the horse girl when i was younger but one day a sso movie poped up on my fyp of Bianca Ponyer which i continued to watch all her videos until i saw a friend who played it too , i downloaded it and got my dad to get me star rider just in time for the 2021 birthday where is was desperate for the free jorvik wild horse , i have been with it ever since , even though i do wish i would of joined earlier i am grateful that i was able to be in that era where is it was just fresh and there were still many aspects from the old game and playing with dear youtubers like Violet Flowergarden
omg this was so good, watched a friday night and i swear i cant remember last time i watched a 30 min vid on youtube and being genuinely interested af. saved part 2 to my watch later!!! love from sweden
the nostalgia really hit hard🥹 i miss my childhood so much, i wish i could relive it all and feel that same excitement while logging onto starstable again, that excitement i felt when i finally got to play as a starrider and being able to jump with my horse, starstable truly was a big part of my childhood and the nostalgic feeling makes me tear up everytime
HAHAHAA thank you so much, this compliment genuinely means so much to me because sometimes I wonder if I underexplain or overexplain.. I'm so glad you could relate to the documentary, thank you for your kind comment. ♡
i started playing in september 2019. however, somehow the old trailers make me feel really nostalgic.. maybe because i always watched star stable videos in 2015-2017. i would love to play the game how it originally was but sadly that will never be possible :(
i really really love your documentaries, after watching your first one i was really hoping you'd be making more of this kind of content because i LOVE hearing other old players talk about my fav childhood game without being so negative towards the "new era", and here you are :) i cant wait for part 2 tbh

Omg.... Elena Wolflee's short movie/music video Welcome to my Life... I LOVED that video! I roleplayed the story in game and bought the same horse (gen1 buckskin andalusian) also as the first ever horse I bought. I remember seeing her in the game (or who I thought was her) and being like "omg!!! you're like famous on youtube right?" and the person ended up saying yes, and then then started recording a video with me. Turns out she was in fact not Elena Wolflee, but some other player named Elena (Dragonbard I think. I ended up befriending her in-game back in the day, which I am reminded off every time I see the name log on to this day). Somewhere out there, there's a video of me running around the firgrove area with Elena dragon-something.

i actually teared up a bit watching this, thanks for the nostalgia. :') also, you seem to be better at research than i am so...do you know anything about the music that plays at the salons in sso? i've tried and failed to find the song but maybe you'd have better luck finding out about its origin. no pressure, of course.
So sorry for the late reply angel!! ♡ Thank you so much for your support, I'm so glad you found the documentary nostalgic. :D ♡ And as for the salon music, I get all of my music from the old SSO files themselves!! As well as the old CD game files, the salon music in SSO can be particularly found in cd game Star Academy in each character's room! In most of the salons, a track called "AM_ENVIRON_BRIT" plays!! For the character Brittney's room in Star Academy!! It kind of has a Britney Spears .. Christina Aguilera song vibe to it! In Kool Kutz .. a track called "AM_ENVIRON_LISA" plays! For of course the beloved Lisa's room in Star Academy :) It has a 90's punk rock vibe to it!! In that one pirate themed salon in Cape West Fishing village .. a track titled "AM_ENVIRON_KYOMI" plays!! For Kyomi's room in Star Academy!! This one has no lyrics, and kind of just a techno beat to it .. I think!! I would be happy to upload these as unlisted videos on my channel, it would literally take me less than 2 minutes!! You can message me on Instagram for the links at @kittispiderweb !! :D Thank you so much for your comment. ♡
@@helIokitti woah that would be great, thank you! do the tracks have ambient noise in them as well? i've noticed that the sound files are under ambience and not music so it's usually a bit hard to hear the song. :/

Idk how people found Starstable without having played the Starshine games. I grew up with the Starshine games. The game is based on Norway, not Sweden btw. Alot of the names are puns of Norwegian names, like calling people Jorvegians, thats obviously from Norwegians. The oil rigs aswell, Norway had alot of them, which is inspired to mane Dark Core. It got a big Norwegian fanbase. I get that the game is made in Sweden but kinda tired of everyone calling it a Swedish game or that its a swedish world when its not and only talking about its swedish players.

YESS Merezone and Seepran are our own SSO legends ❤ (and Merezone even has made videos of Starshine Legacy back when it was the craze, which is absurd to think about now lmaoo)
Watching them play alone and with their friends and having fun in SSO was my childhood 😍
But now when Seepran has stopped making videos altogether and Merezone's weekly update videos seem to be kinda forced, and more of an obligation than a genuine enjoyment of playing the game, it doesn't feel the same...
Thank you so much for mentioning us! This video is beautifully made, interesting and made us feel so nostalgic 💖💖💖
Oh you're so welcome angels!! ♡ Thank you so much for continuing to keep SSO MEPS alive, you all are SO talented!! ♡ :D Thank you for your support!! ♡
I found out about star stable back in 2012. I watched a video i believe her name on RUclips in Cin. its one of her older videos. I'm so glad i had chance to play the old sso.
Their name was Cin and i watched their videos too i watched Alice more often but i watched Cin's Edits
@@helIokitti No problem at all. I love thinking about the good times💕💕
I'm now a 37 year old woman with a career and a family, and I still find time throughout the week to log on and tend to my horses
i remember mailing Alice Winterbell on SSO thinking she'd answer ahahah
ARCHIE WE MISS YOU
How I first got introduced to Star Stable (personally) was the ads.
There were also TV commercials
@@RimFaxxe Omg .. THE COMMERCIALS!! I got to see an SSO commercial once in America on Cartoon network .. I think it was one of their commercials filmed in real life!
@@helIokitti I saw the swedish commercials

So nostalgic to see myself in one of the old videos you showed from 2011. Didn't even know it existed! :)
Another great video! :D ♥
This means so so much coming from you, Rattle!! I appreciate your support greatly!! ♡ :D
I grew up with that first trailer omg, it’s so nostalgic seeing it again as someone who started playing as soon as it opened worldwide
omg i remember archie, im pretty sure it was announced years ago that he'd parted with the company. i think the community aspect of sso has been ruined with open server changes, because i too remember back in 2013/2014 on night star where i knew mostly everyone's name, and omg red hearts legacy being a thing was an actual cultural reset, i'm so glad that they're back today even though i used to hate them back in the day (for no real reason too! they were and are just cool)
AAAH I must have missed the Archie announcement!! I'm so sad he didn't stay for longer, but wherever he is now I hope he's doing great!! ♡
I literally can watch a 2014 video filmed on Wind Star and recognize everyone. I sometimes even see myself!! I miss when the community wasn't so .. come and go, like new players register and get bored very quickly and inevitably ditch the game .. and old players who have practically been neglected! Everyone used to have a reason to log on every day! D:
I'm so glad RHL is back, they were totally the standard for SSO clubs back in the day!! I wasn't cut out for big clubs like that though back in the day, I was a HUGE club hopper LOL
Thank you so so much for your nostalgic comment angel!!
NC player as well! I’ve been playing since 2013, and this definitely was a nostalgia throw back.
Alice Winterbell was such a big inspo for me when I started playing sso. She was the reason I started my own roleplay series too lol. So nostalgic
thank you so much for making another! i actually started sso because of cookie swirlc
You're so welcome angel!! ♡ Thank you so much for supporting this documentary!! :D OMGG I remember Cookie SwirlC I used to watch her SSO lets plays all the time!! She had the cutest voice! :3 ♡
It's funny to me what convinced me to start playing SSO. It was a series adding onto the story of Spirit.
Oh my gosh .. Those movies used to be HUGE back in the day!! I think I may know which one you're talking about if it was around 2013-2014 .. What a lovely way to begin your SSO journey!! :3 Thank you so much for your comment. ♡
Oh my god the pink screen with the cat- I'm going to cry
It was such a wild time lol
I really miss the big family we had on youtube.
I'm so glad you had that opportunity to join SSSG, you truly made the channel special!! ♡ I can see where you are coming from though! It must be kind of straining to have to push out a video every week, it takes me weeks just to make one video LOL
Evelina is totally one of my biggest inspirations, mainly just because she always hosted the most ICONIC MEPs !! ICONICCC!! ♡ She was SUCH a big inspo for me!!

i really used to love the yt community, the way i knew everyone u mentioned 😭 wish it was the way it was back then now
hearing Alice's name brought back memories
Oh how much i miss old sso...the nostalgia hit me HARD
I know right!! I wish that these RUclipsrs mentioned in the documentary were still here!! Looking back on their videos I truly do miss all of the old, charming elements that this game used to have. ♡ Thank you so much for your lovely comment!!

Man I wish I could find the video that got me into SSO. I don't remember what is was called or who it was by. It was just someone running around doing stuff in the game with their friend who was on a black gen 2 quarter. I wish I could find it again and tell them they're the reason I've spent almost 7 years on this game now 💀
Edit: AAHHH ARCHIE!! I remember him! I was wondering when he would come up. I wonder where he's been, I miss him

So SSO gave me so much creativity, so much happiness, so many people, I made friends with, that I can never forget
i loved this video! it brings back a lot of memories. I remember watching other youtubers such as Cin and Northena

Somewhere out there, there's a video of me running around the firgrove area with Elena dragon-something.

also, you seem to be better at research than i am so...do you know anything about the music that plays at the salons in sso? i've tried and failed to find the song but maybe you'd have better luck finding out about its origin. no pressure, of course.
I think!!

Just because sso is based on Norway doesnt mean that its not a swedish game
