Loved watching you assemble bits and pieces to decorate the envelope! I've never been able to find used wedding dresses in my area, so I went to ebay. Took a while to find what I thought I could use...I am so enjoying cutting apart all the lace appliques...next comes some coffee dying. This is going to be interesting! thank you for your tip filled narrative...very valuable!

An instructor in heirloom sewing had this advice for determining the right or wrong side of lace. She said to look at it for 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, if you can't tell which is the right side, no one else will be able to either!☺️
Thank you! 💐🥰
Gorgeous 😍
So pretty as always ❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
💕
I love this project! I never thought of trying to make the vintage appearance "sound right" as well!
I have a question. When you sew on paper, what stitch length do you use? Is there a preferred needle size and thread tension to keep the paper from tearing along the perforations that form from sewing?
Thanks
I’m pretty unconventional about sewing paper. I use a heavy needle, I don’t mess with my tension. 💐🥰
@@CathysGardenllc , thank you.
I love this, this may be a silly question but if I insert a card or note, seal it slightly, take it to the post office can I have this hand canceled and hand sorted can this be sent thru the mail?
No, you would need to place it into another envelope may be a padded one would be my choice. It also would take more than one stamp. Take you parcel to the post office and have them weigh it. You would still make a wonderful impression on the recipient when they opened it up. 🥰💐
I don't purchase digitals, because it uses so much ink and ink is expensive. So, I'll just watch you craft with it.
Hi. I was the same but started using instant ink. You can choose how much you want to pay per month. Might be worth checking out in your country. I live in Ireland. Happy crafting
@thecraftartistry7584 I've never heard of instant ink. Usually, we have just ink cartridges and they don't last long if you print a lot. It's $40 per cartridge.
