- I hope this little tutorial will give you some inspiration on what you can do with some of your laces, an envelope and some index cards. Enjoy :)

These are so beautiful, and the laces are gorgeous, a very Victorian feel to them. The envelope is a gift in itself.
OMG, this a beautiful project to work on and the embellishments make them pop! Gives it an old-world feel to them and I especially love the sewn edges. I guess I'll be going through my lace stash. TFS! EDIT: What I found out recently is, if you use a rubber spatula to pat down glue-related projects, it will eliminate the glue from getting on your hands.

Oh Carol, I love everything you do with all your beautiful lace!!💕! When my mum passed away all of her luscious fabrics and ribbons were taken by siblings and none shared with me. A journal would be so lovely with all this yummyness!!! Bit so EXPENSIVE. BIT I ENJOY WATCHING WHAT YOU MAKE.

WOW! I saw the photo of these envelopes and I was suitably impressed!! I just had to watch this entire video. I think covering the flap does make this envelope have a more completed look. I like the carryover from front to back. That little charm is such a nice element. Beautiful finished projects! Thanks so much for posting this video...much appreciated!!
It's 4 years later and I'm back for another look, finally am getting into the use of laces. It took me a while to get enough choices into my inventory and to learn how to tea/coffee dye. And, lest we forget, had to deal with Covid and some vision issues along the way...YUCK! So, here I am, finally ready to create. LOVE the look of these envelopes...time has even increased their beauty.

Thank you for the tutorial! The envelopes are lovely! I think the bottle of Fabric Tac says to add a little acetone if the glue get to thick. That is what I had to use, as I keep forgetting to put the darn cap back on! It evaporates quickly!
