Hinge Filling

In Todays video I am going to show you how to fill cavities around hinges. Sometimes when you update hardware on a door the hinges will not match the exact pattern of the cut out of the old hinge that was there. This will not look very good if not addressed so with the help of some caulking and a damp rag we can hide imperfections around door hardware.
Pro Tip: Do not use Silicone for caulking these holes around hinges. Silicone is not paintable and any paint on it will not last or stick. Use a high quality paintable caulking from your local hardware store. The tube of caulking will say paintable on it so it doesn't then you have the wrong product.
