- We are driving to the City of Batac, Ilocos Norte, nicknamed as Home of Great Leaders.
Do I need to spell it out here? Of course you already knew it.
Batac has earned the title because three prominent people, who rendered notable services to the country once lived here.
to name a few, we have
Former President Ferdinand E. Marcos,
Bishop Gregorio Aglipay,
General Artemio Ricarte,
General Rodolfo Biazon, and the Marcos family.

When I was a teenager living in Batac 16 years ago, Batac had 45k population. Population only had a net increase of 10k since becoming a city. Thank you for your videos. I like watching the videos of places I've lived in through my younger years!
