- After several attempts to visit Laoag City, finally, we reached the northernmost city. Guys, we present you, the City of Laoag, the capital of the province of Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
The City of Laoag is a 1st class component city. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 111,651 people.
It's our first time also driving around the city so we're not yet familiar with the city, there are parts that we're driving randomly into some roads. Traffic is light so we enjoyed driving.

Awesome video! I've visited the Philippines on vacation several times and have family in the Laoag City area. Love the Philippines for it's food, the scenery and the people. We've been on road trips to different city's, province, barangay's, and tourist attractions and was invited to party's in different places. It's so much fun. Yon lang Ang Dagupan ay isa sa pinakamaruming lunsod na Nakita ko sa sentro.
Manila north road, ay nagumpisa sa Monumento ( Mac Arthur hi way ) hanggang San Fernando ,La Union ,inextend hanggang Vigan ,Ilocos Sur ( na kung saan one of the WW2 battle venue Bessang Pass , na create naman ang Maharlika hiway mula Laoag going north ,then east down to Manila ,Bikol , tumawid ng dagat to Samar ,Leyte , tawid ng Mindanao ,east ward to south ,west and to Zamboanga at terminus south ( Zamboanga city ) nang ma create ang Asian highway system pinag sama ang dalawang hi way at kung twagin ay A26, taga Laoag nanay ko ,kung tawagin ako hilaw na Ilokano

kala ko highly urbanized ang laoag kasi may international airport parang naga city or taclaban hindi pala.
not yet, wala pa actually HUC sa buong ilocos region 🙂 among the 1st class cities sa region 1, Dagupan sana would be a candidate, kaya lang baka hindi pumasa sa land area requirement.
Hindi na kailangan dahil first class city component cya kaunti lang ang tao 111000.Pero mayroon ng nakaline up potential area commercial purposes hjndi cya agricultural land tulad sa bypass road Airport road at paoay Road.Kasi pinoprotektahan nla ang agricultural land.kaya yung hjnfi agricultural land doo nila idedevelop😊
