Any upcoming blog updates re: rooftop tent project? We are in Australia just got our Jimny and your blog is amazing. Thanks for all the useful info and your wonderful videos too. Want to buy some leather accessories from your Etsy soon :)
Hi! Funnily enough I was supposed to be heading out to shoot some new videos. However. 😆 as with almost every step of this diy roof tent project an unfortunate obstacle of the roof warping and leaking in the sun occurred! I’m talking about the NE of England weather too which wasn’t even 14° but sunny. So that failure has set me back. A replacement different material is arriving tomorrow. At least the slimline kitchen build worked out great first time. Can’t wait to start using it all and cracking a beer! There’s a sale on Etsy as we speak by the way! Appreciate the message and thanks for watching the videos and checking out the blogs.
Love your content! I really appreciate the amount of effort you put in each angle and shot to create your awesome content. Your content is very inspiring, I also love the upgrades you've made to your set up excited to watch more of your upcoming adventures mate! ⛺🔥
Love that campsite (if its where I think it is). Amazing how used to people the squizas are. I was sat feet up towards the roaring fire, chilling. Then heard noises in my van just behind me, turned around to see squiza in van head buried in bag of nuts. Shouted ‘OY!’ It just sat looking at me then carried on nibbling nuts. Had to chase it out.
50ml shots is a big mistake for camping 🤪. Fun, cheap and easy mod though. Much better when camping with a few mates to go to the bar for their round 😉
By seeing your videos I imagine myself as if I'm present there. So serene, peace, spending time with yourself, preparing a meal, having a beer. Weekends should be spent like this. Will get a jimny for myself when available in India for sure. Please do upload more videos.
Just back from a few nights at Brockers myself. So envious of your set up. Beautiful. Sadly a lot of storm damage has taken place but doesn't detract from the enjoyment and tranquility. 👌
Ive helped a bit when Im there, if and when I can, with clean up. I was there the day after the storm, it was saddening but it will recover. Think most of the clean up is done now.
Thank you for a beautiful and peaceful video. Can you share info / do a full video of your Jimny storage setup. In min 15:13 we can see a glimpse of it with some fridge slider and a solid platform for storage. Keep making these videos. Thanks

Hi Glenn, thanks for watching. Yeah I do recommend them. However you have to get the lightest weight ones for a jimny. They can’t handle the heavy roof top tents very well. I’m building my own as we speak after selling my front runner one.
All things considered with footage in the bin, this video turned out nicely. I really like the b-roll with sounds/sights of the woods. Also good to see the front end of the Jimny. Cheers!

Вот почему мои видео-релизы очень медленные! Я не могу жаловаться, потому что жизнь хороша! С наилучшими пожеланиями 🍻

It helps raise the car higher up so the side awning has more head room. I need to make some awning brackets that will sit higher up but have no got to them yet :)

disculpas por la ausencia! No he podido hacer otro video durante muchos meses. Volveré lo prometo 😁🤝
How you installed Rotopax?
It’s a custom mount I’ve been testing.
why wheels are on top of rocks?
2 reasons. To level the car flat and/or raise it up higher.
Usually when the roof tent is on or I’m sleeping in the car, the rocks help create a flat level surface that stops you rolling and sliding to one side in your sleep.
However, on this camp it was to help add extra head room under the side awning. JIMNY’S, even with a 50mm suspension lift are not very tall cars compared to defenders and Jeeps. I’m only 6ft tall and still have to stoop down.
Why do you park front wheel on the elevated rock?
It helps raise the car higher up so the side awning has more head room. I need to make some awning brackets that will sit higher up but have no got to them yet :)
@@OutThereEquippedI see... tnx
I could smell the bacon from here!
😁
Love these videos! I am curious, how do you find places to camp in the woods that allow you to have a fire? I really want to do some woodland camping!
Hi 👋 I go to a privately ran campsite that allows customers to light fires. There’s not many that do in the UK for good reason but this farm is my favourite 👍
@@OutThereEquipped do you mind me asking which campsite? Looks like an absolute dream and wouldn’t mind visiting!
Edit: ignore me. I’ve just read your description 😂
