    Did you have to adjust the studio lighting to improve the results? what kind of lighting did you have on in the studio ( LEDs?)

      No, generally it's not important -- fluorescents, LED panels, or even halogen -- you really don't need to worry about them unless they're EXTREMELY bright. For example, scanning outside in sunlight, or next to a very bright window with direct sun, that _can_ cause issues, but generally normal indoor lighting is ideal.

    Compare to the peel3d , which one is better and more accurate in real life, rather than on paper
    I am between these two..

      I'm a reseller in Norway for Shining3d and we have benchmarked them for real accuracy. They are closer to 0.01mm in real life then 0.02mm but since they have to guarantee that, thats what the brochure says.
      Our Freescan Pro actually had 0.008mm which was bonkers. We used a 50cm large CNC part that was measured with a super high accuracy CMM Machine that has 0,001mm accuracy. Then we compared those measurements to our scanners.
      No idea about Peel3D though since we dont sell them.

      From the customer reports we've heard, the Peel3D is alright, but the freescans (and Einscan in general) outperforms in speed and data-pickup (3 times faster on paper - 1.25M points/second versus 3.6M points/second. The Peel 3 uses only IR VSCEL projectors -- which the Freescan also has, but with the freescan, you also get the lasers, MUCH higher accuracy (0.25-0.1mm vs 0.02mm on the freescan) , more versatile scanning because the lasers will pick up more types of surfaces, smaller form factor, among other things.... for just a bit more cost, the Freescan is a clear winner between the two.

    did you make the rotary turn table? it is wood? why is black color?

      Yes, it's just a lazy susan, painted black, with a few marker dots on it :)
