WHY DO NONE OF THE JOURNALISTS CORRECT HIM when he says total exoneration? When he says that, the reporter should immediately say: that’s not accurate, that’s not what it says & it’s not even what Barr said.
They're scared.
He doesn’t care because he'll put his own gaslighting, delusional, alternate fact, lying spin on it.
Pretty sure the SMARTEST RICH ORANGE ONE thinks we're all stupid and gullible.
I wonder the same thing every time no one has the nerve to call him out on his lies. People say they are afraid, that alone should tell you he is not a president, but a dictator.
Because LYING has been normalized in spite of LYING being a crime.
Because they're all old-guard journalists who cling to an outdated belief that the media has to remain neutral, that their job is not to seek truth or to challenge any one side or the other, but simply to report the news, as both sides tell it.
Also considering how Acosta and others have been treated, they probably fear he would revoke their pass.
Does the attorney general work for the president or does he work for America? Because they are very different things these days.

Ummm are you old enough to remember when Eric Holder literally said he was "Obama's wingman" around the time of the fast and furious investigation? I'm guessing not. He blocked a special council in that case. Well that's why we didn't trust him. Or you. Even after all this you can't admit when you are wrong. A special council could not find enough to bring in front of a jury. You can charge anyone and they could not find enough to even do that.

To be fair, according to the Mueller report Trump said that because special counsel investigations take years to conclude and tarnish reputation because of all the speculation in the news media.

Sean Steel, yep exactly. Pardoning is a presidential power that is to allow people to act outside of the law on behalf of the president (although I find the reasoning behind that questionable). There is nothing specific that keeps the president from pardoning himself.
So, you can’t prosecute a sitting president - he could always pardon himself.
Which is why we need to impeach (or vote out of office in numbers too big to manipulate), and remove the pardoning power first.

No, no, there are some laws in which INTENT is part of the crime. For example, 1st degree murder means you need to PROVE the murderer planned it out ahead of time with INTENT. Things like conspiracy or obstruction work kinda the same way. You have to prove INTENT. This is why it's all such a fascinating pickle. I had to take a law class for my degree, and albeit, just one class doesn't make me an expert, but I know just enough to understand that intent is sometimes a big deal. It probably won't get you out of your parking tickets, but it's definitely a defense for some very specific crimes.

How about if you know about someone else's intent to murder, and you don't inform the authorities? What if you then go on to hamper any investigation into that murder after it's carried out? This is more of a direct analogue to this situation: Trump and his campaign knew about the Russian interference, and knew that it was there for their own benefit, but did nothing to inform the authorities that it was happening (and even went so far as to _attempt_ to conspire, successful or no).
I guess Mueller didn't watch the video of Trump asking Russia to find Hillary's emails, during his campaign

As a small business owner who pays crippling high taxes, I’m the only “employee”, I, along with all working tax paying Americans, 1. Paid for the investigation 2. Pay for government employees including the president and this team 3. Paid for the nightmare of this presidency.
We are entitled to the report, we own the report. Would anyone allow their doctor, plumber, or mechanic to provide a service that paid ....then they give you the bill with all charges “redacted” and you have to pay. But you’re not allowed to know anything in you’re paid for report, diagnosis or billable items. F this government and their secrets.
Nearly two-thirds of the Russia section -135 pages out of 199 - had some form of colour-coded redaction...WHY?
Most likely because it would've spelled out exactly how we get information on how Russia works. That's not a good way to keep intelligence methods and personnel secret. I mean, it's easy to assume the redactions includes things like, "One of our covert agents, a member of Putin's staff, was hiding in a cloakroom inside Putin's apartment and overheard him speaking to Paul Manafort." Putin would immediately find out who on his staff was in his apartment that day - and have him poisoned.
The tricky thing about spying on people is that you don't want them to know how you're getting your information.
Some of it would also pose a danger to third parties who aren't under investigation but provided information. So the redaction is a way of protecting the innocent.
I will type slowly so you can keep up. It is to protect the innocent, to protect information about on going investigations and to protect information that could be of important to National Security.
