Return of the legendary Cossacks! The sequel of the award winning strategy series.
Leaning on the history of the 17th and 18th century, the real time strategy game awakens colossal mass battles with up to 10,000 soldiers simultaneously on the battlefield.
This remake of the classic game, that originally launched in 2000, contains all of the elements that distinguish the successful Cossacks games and combines them with contemporary 3D-graphics. Cossacks 3 provides the player with infinite tactical options, including not only the construction of buildings, the production of raw materials, but also the broad selection of various units and the influence of the landscape.
Twelve nations, 70 different unit types, 100 research opportunities, and over 140 different historical buildings are available to the player. Besides the battles ashore, players can build an armada and attack their enemies at sea. Cossacks 3 offers five historic single player-campaigns and up to eight players can fight each other in multiplayer-mode on one map. The player can forge alliances with or against others as well as challenge the computer. Randomly generated maps provide endless variations and can be adapted to the gamer’s needs.

I believe the Sich cossacks are pronounced wrong. The "ch" at the end is like in "chair". The makers named the units so that an english speak with english pronounciation would be able to pronounce it correctly.

Kingdom of Poland did not know what to do with all of these Cossack warrior peoples. So they created something called "Cossack Registry". Registered Cossacks were soldiers who could legally carry weapons and fight for the Commonwealth. All Ukrainian Commonwealth regiments were enlisted from these "Registered" Cossacks. "Sich" (more commonly pronounced in English like Sietch) Cossacks are non-registered Cossacks, they are loyal to what is called the 'Cossack Sietch'. Sietch is a steppe community of Cossack peoples. During Ukrainian wars of revolution against Poland, some Sietch Cossacks fought against Cossacks from the Registry, but more often Registered Cossacks would just change sides to join their brothers.

You've had 8 cossacks houses, but you involve only 7 to produce serdiucks
that is one thing i dont really like is how the entire match is build up until the last minutes when it is just 1 side rampages through the other. It is either you steamroll someone or you get steam rolled there is never a game that is back and forth.
millions and a peace time. otherwise if the players are good this game has a lot of depth and tactics
i actually had a really great match once where we were even almost the entire game and had tons of battles in the middle of the map. was epic. but you are right most matches are either you destroy the enemy instantly or vise versa which is lame
i know it is possible for that to happen in this game, but from my experience playing this game and seeing people play it is just that it normally ends after 1 attack, either the someone attacks u and fails so then you go and attack them and win, the only thing that makes it do that is how for some reason when one of your troops pass by all of your very loyal citizens will instantly follow their lead and even kill themselves if they say so.

we can hope, because i still dont understand why they though that buildings and villagers should instantly change sides just because a soldier on the opposite team wanders by.

I have games like rome 2, Atilla and h1z1. None of them run smoothly even though i have a good pc. Does this one run smoothly? It looks a bit like the battle of middle earth and stronghold 2 so i shoukd like it! Btw nice vid

you should sell a bit of iron and stone to buy wood and build more stables and barracks. Since Ukraine has not a ton of varied troops it's all based on numbers.

Anyone got any links to tutorials on Cossacks strategy with different armies? I've been playing for a few weeks now and I can win the game in Impossible mode using Ukraine, but other players usually dominate me.

Man, you mispronounce Sich Cossacks. You keep calling them Sick Cossacks. It's [sitʃ]. They are named after polity of Cossacks in Ukraine. Please, call them correctly :)

How do you train unlimited units ?

Do not make chemistry upgrades in the academy until your firepower will not be 40 points. This is VERY big mistake.
Could you please explain why?
Because
10*1.3*1.2*1.15*1.1+30 is less than 40*1.3*1.2*1.15*1.1
And you loose lots of the firepower.
You mean that it is better to upgrade Serdiuks' atack in barracks until they have the greatest firepower and only after that - to upgrade fp in academy?
Doen't this "fp mechanics" work like current(upgraded or not) firepower(fp) is increased with academy's upgrades and does not remain constant(like as you upgrade fp in barracks, the resulted fp increases on the amount of this upgrade, multiplicated by upgrades' coefficients of academy)?
I know this mechanic from "Cossacks: Back To War" and I know what I'm talking about.
This is already fixed. The order does not matter in 2013 game.
One thing i dont like about cossacks is that you are training army for houars and how roboticly and quickly thay die, i still preffear age of empires 3
you have options to change zoom level, as defoult it is set to normal but you can set it to far or very far then it is not zoomed
