Return of the legendary Cossacks! The sequel of the award winning strategy series.
Leaning on the history of the 17th and 18th century, the real time strategy game awakens colossal mass battles with up to 10,000 soldiers simultaneously on the battlefield.
This remake of the classic game, that originally launched in 2000, contains all of the elements that distinguish the successful Cossacks games and combines them with contemporary 3D-graphics. Cossacks 3 provides the player with infinite tactical options, including not only the construction of buildings, the production of raw materials, but also the broad selection of various units and the influence of the landscape.
Twelve nations, 70 different unit types, 100 research opportunities, and over 140 different historical buildings are available to the player. Besides the battles ashore, players can build an armada and attack their enemies at sea. Cossacks 3 offers five historic single player-campaigns and up to eight players can fight each other in multiplayer-mode on one map. The player can forge alliances with or against others as well as challenge the computer. Randomly generated maps provide endless variations and can be adapted to the gamer’s needs.

This is one of my favorite episodes, just because it was ALL OUT WAR between orange and purple! If I could I would just watch them fight, it was very entertaining. You made some mistakes, but everyone does. Keep up the awesome videos!

Anyway, it hurts me so bad when you construct so many cannons (especially anti-infantry) and just destroy them on your own because of coming couple of cavallery units. Man, just protect those cannons with rifle units ordering them not to move.
Also, check your mini map. You didn't notice orange Hussars and lost all your cannons in the beginning of the game. You didn't notice large orange spot...

sergiu about the upgrades you make for shot power its better to upgrade the dragoons highlanders etc...then to make them you get higher shot power that way
U should make a fortress at the top of the hills just for fun !!!

I think what killed orange was the capture of his markets... lack of food + no market = suicide attack against a huge army... they’re dying from famine anyway who not die by the musket?
Edit: I have been watching your videos recently.. and I noticed you focus your upgrades on gunpowder fire power in the academy..mainly for the musketeers...I think this is a mistake doing it first. These upgrades are base on percentages. So you should fully upgrade your musketeers from the barracks first then use your academy upgrades.
For example:
Musketeer starts at 10 damage
Academy adds 50% damage so you get to 15
Then musketeer barracks upgrades add 8 damage and you end up at 23
But start with the barracks upgrades, so you add 8 first getting to 18
Then academy adds 50% which is 9 (half of 18).. so you end up at 27.
I used to do this a lot back in the day... almost 18 years ago.......
Save those 4 academy firepower upgrades for last.
44:45 Stonek says "fck back raids" while he did the same to you in the beginning...
back raid are raid into the someone's base when there is no army, not attacking someone's army
i have my headphones turned up all the way so everytime a cannon shoots it sound like a nuke is going off lol

You need to watch the map more. Had all the time in the world to see orange coming. Good job though
assign group numbers for your troops : 1 for melee infantry, 2 for melee cav, 3 for riflemen etc.... press ctrl+1 etc.. to do it and you wont have the debacle at @25:30.
My god... Reminds me of those days I group units in Command and Conquer games...

Also towards the end of the video you state that you needed some tower cannons. Are they mostly useless? I don't see that many videos where you build them.
that's because he's mostly an offensive player, so tower cannons are pretty much useless for him, unless its an islands map, then TCs are very useful

I was looking at this gameplay for curiosity. And im interested in the game. Anyone kind to tell me how this game compares to age of empires? it looks like it's similar, but that's why i want to know the differences
Cossacks was inspired by Age of Empires II, but GSC Game World wanted to have huge armies battles. Before Cossacks 1 they tried to make mod for AoE, like they did for WC2, but quickly desided to make game on their own game engine.
Maine difference is that units produce and die very quickly, compare to AoE. But if you play with only XVII century and no walls/cannons - gameplay is very similar to AoE, but slower.

You don't care about your troops. You just send them and a pack of 10 cossack can destroy all your cannons.. You must not play against good players...
Why don't you upgrade the mines?! You could win faster with more gold & iron...
You still build/upgrade like a noob. You keep having problems with resources from the early parts of the game and struggle halfway through. You're lucky you were playing even bigger noobs
согласен, ещё так нелепо потерять пушки постав их далеко впереди армии это идиотизм! Ему просто повезло, что игрок был ещё больше noob поставив мощные пушки в конце армии а не в перед. И тот придурок меня расмешил поставил 3 деревянных забора
+John Smith I know, He's always focusing on stone and wood productions. That's why. But, luckily, there's a market so we can trade every sources to another sources. But, even He gets problem with sources, his strategy is good, though.
If his strategy is bad, He wouldn't win in his battles.

Their 18th century musketeers have higher range damage (55 if I remember it correctly). With upgrades, they can take down most infantry units with a single shot.

Bạn rất giỏi trong việc gây dựng quân đội mạnh , dàn trận nhưng rất chủ quan và không biết nhìn bản đồ, và đặc biệt bạn sử dụng và bảo vệ pháo như một người mới tập chơi vậy, tại sao lại có thể để pháo đi 1 mình không có bảo vệ như vậy??? Đây là một trận đấu tồi của bạn, chẳng qua là vì các đối thù của bạn chơi không tốt ( trừ đội cam)
