I cover how I make the absolute best cup of coffee at camp using my little ingenius areopress coffee maker...the best way to make coffee on the trail in my opinion. I've been using this for years and it is hands down my favorite way to make coffee on the trail or camping.

You had me sold at “Coffee”… as I’m sitting here drinking … coffee!
🤜🤛
Lol.
Couldn't agree more! This has been our go-to coffee solution for almost 10 years and we're no less satisfied with it than day one.
Right on!
Got my Aeropress because of your previous videos. We love it!
Glad to hear you love it! Me too obviously lol.
Good timing. I just bought the Aeropress XL yesterday. And yes, for camping, overlanding, and general outdoor on the road activities.
I've never tried the XL...might have to check that out!
Barista Overland, proudly brought to you by @Venture2Roam ☕☕😄. I have my french press but now, I have to look at this one. I never go out without a mean for real coffee. Ask my wife when I realised I forgot to refeel the ground coffee pot. Having to ask for coffee to a bunch of coffee addict friends turns into a long time memory recall 😆
lol touche. French presses are great too...I've just become addicted to the aeropress style.
Love your channel, recent subscriber and enjoying the epic movies and showing my wife to help get her excited too for more adventures with our little family. The family and kids aspect to the videos help! Your prior 2024 video helped me choose aeropress to try. I’ve been unhappy with the French press mess to clean up while on the trail. Great video!
So awesome to hear you are a new subscriber..thank you!!!! Lots more family stuff coming a bit later this summer. Stoked to hear you're getting your family out!
Great video. Been using an Aeropress for several years now. Definitely makes great coffee. I learned of a couple new ways to use it from your video. Thanks. I always keep one in our little camp trailer. I might pick up another for my overland gear, though.
I have two now. No regrets! lol.
Just Ordered! Can’t wait for my husband and I to try this! Thank you Will & Kate! 🤙🏼
Yay, hope you love it!!
We have a $400 espresso machine at home. I’ve done a blind taste test with my wife vs the Aeropress. She absolutely 100% prefers the Aeropress. It’s the best coffee you’ll ever drink! Especially out in the wilderness!!!
I agree 100%. It just makes dang good coffee.
Excellent, Inverted Aeropress FTW!
So funny, the inverted method isn't officially endorsed by aeropress, but many people use it. I use it for espresso stuff because you can't afford to lose any water through the filter before you brew it.
@@Venture2Roam Yup, and the inventor only recommends like 80c temps...
The guy changed the (coffee) world, great coffee anytime, anywhere, easily.
I mean... Being an Aeropress World Champions is a real thing, and like a real World Champion, not like how that term is sometimes misused ;)
You did it upside down😉, I use to do it that way too. Inverted version is so much easier. Been using them rafting since 2007
Ya, Aeropress actually doesn't endorse the inverted method...BUT almost all of the world champions (yes there is an annual aeropress competition) use the inverted method.
I'm guessing one would be fast to clean up this device, below freezing temperatures then unable to unscrew the filter and leftover grinds... Yes, from Canada 🇨🇦 😅
You know...I've used it a ton in below freezing temps and have never changed my process...but I tend to clean it quickly just because I'm always thinking about my next cup lol.
I want to buy the VTR coffee mug, but it’s not in the store.
That was a Father's Day gift from Kate. Love it...just don't have them for sale on the website...yet. :)
I don't drink coffee so I'm wondering if anyone has used this for loose leaf tea?
Great question. I haven't, but maybe someone else will comment on this.
Hey Will. What's that tailgate table? I need one.
It’s from Mountain Hatch. Made in the USA!
@@Venture2Roam Not Canada? PFFFFFFF! Lol. Thank you.
@@TheBeagleBrigadelol. Made in Canada is good too! My chainsaw bag is made there and is top notch 😊
Too complicated. Simply find a coffee bag producer that makes their bags with decent coffee. 😈
I use Contact Coffee (retired UK armed forces people) bags in the UK. Red Bags are the strongest and in my opinion taste the best. Other makers are available.
IMO (and I made a taste test video) this coffee is much much better tasting than the tea bag approach...but if that's what you like, it's way less complicated and easier to clean up for sure.
And IMO a coffee that tastes 95% as good as ground but with a fraction of the hassle is worth the slight loss in flavour. A jet boil and 60 seconds and you’re almost ready to drink. If out for a longer time than an extended weekend then I will take ground beans. Best of both worlds. Always enjoy.
@@andywelch3556 Right on. I still have some tea bag coffee things...maybe I'll give them another shot one of these days.
Very happy to send you a box of what I use and support retired forces personnel at the same time. 😎
get a decent hand grinder, buy loacal, grind on the campsight and you will never touch a bag of starbucks again
If you look at my vid - the other coffees bags are local. I like starbucks..but use local whenever I can...the starbucks was just what was open when I filmed...and since I was making many many cups for the camera..didn't care about wasting it too much.
