I love your vlogs. We considered retiring to Sanur 30 years ago and starting up a pie & sandwich bar, making our own bread as you couldn't get nice bread back then, but the timing was wrong. We are now too old and have retired to Geelong. Last time in Sanur was 2019. We miss being there so much and the wonderful people.

Love your videos with your great recommendations. We have been going to Bali for 20 years but only discovered Sanur in the last 5 years.
We were in Sanur in October and went to a warung you mentioned, and there you were ordering lunch. Lovely to say hello. Great hearing your back story and your on going adventure. See you when we’re there in 2023 😎

Interesting to get a little background and perspective on your big move, thanks for sharing.
We stayed in Sanur in July to get a feel for the place partly because of your videos. I even spotted you both walking past the Birds nest at Segara village hotel while we were having breakfast one morning. Thanks again for sharing and hopefully we can hear some more about the practical realities of making such a big move.

Thanks for such a informative video. We have been watching you for awhile and enjoy your videos.
We have been to Sanur for many years and hoping to retire there in 2 years and you have made the thought process easy.
We are coming back for a month in August and would love to meet you and feed off your knowledge.
It is a big move and a bit scary but life is short and what better to spend it in Sanur.
We have watched many other peoples videos but found yours so down to earth and it’s a credit to you both.
And we thank you for that. You are awesome.
We love the many places that you visit in Sanur as we have been there too - so it brings back beautiful memories of our visits.
We are both from Melbourne and looking for that Bali life also.
Last year we stayed at the Inna Grand for a month which was wonderful but unfortunately it has closed - but found it amazing and with a unit close to the beach - absolutely priceless
Once again - thank for your time and honesty in Bali.

Enjoyed that, agree the visa situation is a fluid situation especially with retirement visa now lifted. I feel sorry for some who qualified but now may not. Keep it coming guys.

Also how much is your Villa to lease for 25 years and can you sell if you need to head back to Australia? Do you make money on a property if you have done work on your lease ? Just some more questions for you 😊

Maybe you’re thinking about one of the new visas requiring a large bank deposit to qualify? That isn’t applicable to us!

I found Bali to have a lot of pollution. I visited and enjoyed it, but the air, sea and land pollution worried me. I visited the Gillies and Lombok, visited Komodo area...Bali has awful traffic, and some unsafe practices. Stay healthy.
Excellent description of your life in Bali we were talking about maybe moving to Bali to live in the next 12 months but would love to talk to some Australian people who currently live there we spoke to an American man who raved about living in Bali but we need to do more homework in the next 6 months

Well done you pair, I’m retired but I’ll not retire to Bali but I do enjoy my holidays there which I’m intending to extend for longer periods, the 60 day visa (30+30) will suit me I think in the initial stages.
