I personally really dislike the MX Blacks still. Their sound is much rougher than the others. The HMX Pearls are much cleaner and smoother sounding.

I personally love scratchyness of the switch, it gives character to the sound, I think smoothness of linear switches rating is too overrated...I do love hmx switches tho, have tons of them, but mx blacks is "my home" after trying so much switches with the same character like hmx's

The look and colors are amazing, but in terms of sound as far as I'm concerned it loses significantly to Cycle7 by TKD 😅

yes cycle7 is fantastic...it sets the new bar for good sounding boards in this price range, hard to beat, but it's slightly more expensive too while the neo70 offers wider range of colors and configurations (aslo being cheaper), so I think depends on each person to decide

@@bosenngantor9160not really, Cycle 7 also provide the simpliest way to build your keyboard, that ball catch system is so good, you just need a second to open it and accest your pcb. Its more balancing of sound because they dont separate the 60% keys and the arrow keys. once you open the cover with that easy ball catch system you have a full access to your pcb, magnet also could do that, both have a different locking system but same function. Btw you also need to connect the cables in the back of the neo70 weight.
