Steve Davis ( / stevedavis12 ) , CEO of Operto ( / operto ) , discusses the company's third acquisition with the acquisition of DACK. He explains how DACK, which offers a native app for guest communication in the short-term rental industry, will be integrated into Operto's operations. Steve clarifies that DACK's sophistication aligns with Operto's roadmap, accelerating its growth strategy. Furthermore, the company's previous acquisitions, VR Scheduler and StayMyWay, targeted operations/housekeeping and the hotel industry, respectively. Steve also speaks to the ongoing consolidation in the industry and his belief that while Operto can’t be a one-stop-shop, it can serve as a major provider supplemented by specialty vendors.
