it's not weird, it's a training technique. he's trying to hold a neutral or even disadvantaged position instead of trying to win. that's what he always does in these training videos. it's not fruitful training to just blast through everyone.
Agree with most of you. He’s obviously not using much technique in first bout looks mostly like bicep but you can tell in the ones after he is a little more serious which is why schoolboy didn’t move him much.
Yeah, it's very difficult trying to stop your opponent from gaining position when you yourself aren't trying to take anything away from them.
