Redbone is a soul song, a song of emotions. It conveys the feelings a person can convey throughout the song. The song reflects on pride, rage sadness and hope. Each one of these is highlighted as a point in the song. Hope can be conveyed with the heartbeats when there is nothing else, just heartbeats. This shows that even there is nothing else, There is always hope. The yelling can be seen as anger, joy, and relief at the same time, like when you break up with someone toxic. You feel mad at them but sad because you think of what you could’ve done to prevent it. But, you get the joy and relief to f knowing, “phew, that’s over”. In the song redbone, each part of the song can show an emotion when there is not one particular emotion being showcased. For example, the high hats, bass, vocals, all of that. That is what makes redbone the masterpiece it is. It is the accumulation of all these emotions being shown, understood, and learned from. It has done what most songs can’t do, convey many feeling or emotions, with mostly the use of pure sounds. So yes, that is why redbone is a masterpiece.

I'll admit it. When I was young, I couldn't get into pac or biggie for the fact that their choice of beats wasn't my taste. Then when youtube first came out and I watched this video of this dude do a mix of Tupac's song Still Ballin with Dr. Dre's Big Ego beat. I instantly became a fan to tupac. For some reason, I can't connect with a song if it doesn't have a great beat and thanks to youtube and the creative people who do all these wonderful pac and biggie remixes, it made it possible for people to appreciate these artists in a modern tune.
Thing with Pac. Dude wasn’t the most lyrical or anything. A lot of other rappers had a way nicer pen game in the 90’s. But something about his voice could sometimes compensate for weaker beats. That made hime unique. So when you heard him on some melody you dug in addition of all that, you knew that was it

The song is just vastly better, pacs flow goes so well with the beat and the beat just made the whole song so much enjoyable.
