tycho is perfect calming chill, if you want something somewhat similar but more upbeat/fun, check out ratatat!! cherry is my fav song by them, but they have so many great ones. tycho brings back so many good memories for me, too, and i'm 30 now!!
.. I myself think something profound in instrumental to take one’s thoughts to where it needs to be... not a fan of vocals.. it has its moments and place for sure.
for artists to make the best music they can they need to be free to pursue the sound and style they want to, and if that means trying vocals out when they're known for instrumentals then so be it.

I picked this album to go out cycling in the country side early one morning before the weather got too hot. I’d listen to dive back to back this was the first time I listen to this new album ,this heighten my morning cycle to no end. Postcard English county side with wheat and sunflower fields all around me. Smell of morning due, with a slight fog hovering the heads of the wheat heads. The smells of dampness in the air. Redness low in the morning sky, that morning and this album, made it feel like I was living in a 1800’s picture, the world was mine. I don’t know if anyone else has ever experienced it. Sometimes you know this is moment this going to wait with you unit your death bed. I thank tycho for giving me that moment

I am sooo happy with this. The vocals really made Weather not suitable for me, but this album I can just play without getting distracted/irritated. Amazing instrumentals!
I thought a similar thing, but I really grew to love Weather. It is a great album. Also this is a collection of songs including ones within Weather, admittedly some with vocals, And I Loved them. Personal opinion. You are free to yours. Peace Brother.
A couple of the tracks with Saint Sinner were OK (no diss towards her), Tycho just doesn't need any vocals ever. It's his band and he can do what he wants but I am glad this is out now.
Not gonna lie. Nothing will ever match up to Dive for me. Although every album after it has been good, to me they've just never had that longevity and I always end up going back to Dive. This album is actually pretty damn legit though
