Fantastic interview. A great deep dive into Taylor’s difficult journey dealing with bullying and verbal abuse in the Big Brother House. I’ve never seen a comeback story like hers before and to be the first HG to win Big Brother AND the viewer America’s Favorite Player is so satisfying and wonderful.
Her answer/description of the social game is so astute. I feel like people think she only won because of a “story,” but the reason she had a story (aka going from public enemy #1 to surviving week after week) IS because she navigated the social waters sooo well, and her social game was 🔥. Her answer - social game is navigating adversity and the good times - is a type of game we haven’t seen before, but a highly skilled one. So it’s unfair when people say she did “nothing” but get carried. She put in the work, WITH her social game, to be carried. There was intentionality there.

Ladies and gentlemen, THE BB QUEEN and legend, Taylor Hale. 👑 💯 What I love about Taylor is she didn’t let other people’s misconceived notions about her change how she intended to play the game. It is easy to play into people’s words and eventually believe them yourself when they are constantly berating you, telling you “how you come off” and what you supposedly are “doing wrong”. She never played victim, was always resilient and always unapologetically herself even when she was being ostracized for doing so. It takes a truly strong person to handle others’ unwarranted cruelty with that level of grace. Taylor earned this win, and it was so deserved. As a BB superfan, myself and the rest are SO PROUD!

Those answers about her win changing the way the game is played, and more emphasis on social making it more likely women can win- she just grew even more in Taran’s esteem- and mine!
As a casual, I have to admit I was lukewarm on Taylor. I bought into the Ice Queen bit. But she seems awesome! So natural, candid and eloquent. I get now why she has so many fans and I'm now one of them. Fantastic interview.

She is such an amazing woman, so much self-confidence (in spite of BB almost destroying her). I literally almost stopped watching the season because of how this cast treated her. It was so painful to watch. She is such a self-determined person I honestly feel like Rob does. She can take her career anywhere she wants. It is awesome how BB ended. She is a stronger person than I am for sure!
