Taran is extraordinary in this interview. The two of them have so much chemistry, and his recollection of the season keeps the energy up.
I think Taylor needed this more than anybody, it is very therapeutic to intellectually deep dive in the moving parts unseen by the protagonist but felt in the house - what and how happened is maybe most valuable information to Taylor now - for private processing and for external valuation of the persons around her. Taran is very intellectual and very kind and both was needed for this conversation.
Taran talked to Taylor like a friend. I forgot I was watching an interview/deep dive. Kudos to Taran for this excellent coverage.

1:25:30 Monte actually brought up race multiple times the first two weeks he was targeting Taylor. He kept saying stuff like "As a Black man I hate having to vote her out, but what can I do?" The worst one is when he tells Daniel he hates that he has to vote her out first because it confirms the idea that it's our own "people" that get in the way of our progress. That conversation made my skin crawl because it was so unnecessary. He wasn't just using race for no reason (it was week 1 and he wasn't in danger), but he was okay downplaying actual issues in the Black community on national TV.

This deep dive was so great! I loved everything about it. Of course, I love that Taylor was filled in on things by Taran and got to give her thoughts and perspectives on the game and her experiences. But moreover, I want to say thanks to Taran and the RHAP crew for their continued dedication and integrity in covering this show and the stories of each player. Yes, I appreciate that Taylor was so willing to do this, but the fact that Taran devotes so much time and quality to these fully researched interactions with us (from the live feed updates to 6+ HOUR LONG SESSIONS talking with houseguests) is mind-blowing to me. So appreciative of the work you do. (P.S. Almost said I was "grateful" but we all know why that word can't be uttered. lol)

The morning updates, Twitch watch parties, episode recaps, the stockwatch - all of it culminated with this fabulous interview with Taylor and no one could have done it but Taran.
