I've never had a car, neither driven one for a long period, but I really like to get an SUV as my first one, Let me serve my emotional feeling first then I'll choose what is best 😄
It is best to start off with a car so you can get a feeling of driving experience, if you get an SUV as your first car, you're going to regret it, they're not practical. I first drove my Papa's truck when I was 15, it wasn't a big pickup, but I can assure you that driving a sedan is a lot easier, you get a smaller engine, smaller car, so it's easier to control your throttle and steering, FWD is the easiest to control and the safest option, since your power is being delivered to the front wheels, AWD is heavier and consumes more gas, and a RWD car will deliver the power to your rear wheels which can lead you to trouble if you're not careful. A 4cylinder NA FWD car will be your safest option for a first car.
Gen Z are probably all purchasing sedans because they have to buy an old crapbox because they can't afford anything else. Sedans were much more common during the late 90s to 2009ish compared to today. I very much doubt Gen Z are purchasing brand new vehicles and are more likely buying used or whatever hand me down sedan their parents can afford.
Well this is kind if a pointless video. What manufacturer still makes sedans? I prefer a sedan for the styling but it seems the manufacturers and other customers have made the decision for me on my next vehicle purchase. I would prefer a midsize truck if I wanted something more capable.
Sedans are so overrated. SUVs are better in any aspect. Safer in crashes, more comfortable, can go offroad, allowing you to take a vacation to a mountain or resist heavy rain or snow, can store more bags which makes them perfect for travelling, more spacious, bigger fuel tank which means more fuel than sedans. The only downside about SUVs are occupying a lot of space in parking lot, but that's about it. Y'all should wonder why SUVs are liked a lot.
SUVs ARENT safer in crashes, they are most likely to rollover, and they aren’t comfortable with that shitty ride quality and shitty Driving dynamic, and they come standard with FWD so there’s really no point of a SUV, They can’t resist heavy rain because water is water and doesn’t disappear out of nowhere unless if it’s dry. Sedans don’t need lots of fuel because they get good gas mileage, they get 40 mpg per gallon while Suvs get 25 miles per gallon, Tell me your sources, I guarantee your comment is all wrong.
The 2wd and low profile tyres on SUVs beg to differ with your comment. But SUVs becoming more like cars is a good thing because SUVs are typically harder to control in an emergency situation. The extra ride height and weight increase your chance of ending up in a crash in the first place.
@@cashw55 4wd and mountable high profile tyres on SUVs beg to differ with your comment aswell. As for the instability that everyone complains about, just install good suspensions on your SUV and you're good to go. Hydropneumatic suspensions from Citroen can solve that issue. As for weight maybe go for an electric or hybrid SUV that has the battery under it, like Tesla cars (but not necessarily a Tesla itself) so atleast the battery can act as a weight to reduce even more the risk of flipping over.
@@ChristIsKing4ever-l9w I'm speaking in regard to the vast majority of SUVs on the road. 4x0= Nothing And weight is only your friend when you need traction outside of that, it's a problem. Also jacking up a car will never improve its agility. Why fight physics .
Traditional CARS are fundamentally a bad design! They have lower clearance and less cargo capacity to start.... They are not as practical a design for everyday mobility needs like an SUV or Crossover. SUV'S/CROSSOVER'S are by far better! Ex: SUV's have easier ingress & egress. Far more practical for all season's and terrains. SUV's have more cargo space (*That's a better use of a models design footprint). And you can easily tow trailers with an SUV also. Cars are only useful as toys... convertibles or race cars.
Trans 8 okay but for the people who buy crossovers, only 5% actually use them off-road and only use the cargo area to its full capacity 2% of the time. in this case, since most moms own suvs, it has no functional advantage to the sedan.
Suvs are actually horribly designed. High center of gravity making them prone to roll over, bad handling, poor braking, not as practical or fun as a sedan, hatch, or wagons, poor cargo space (trunk space area in sq cm is bigger than the areas behind the rear seats of a crossover, but people always measure the whole area in cubic cm which assumes cargo to stack up and block rear window). Although Jeeps are cool and its the only suv I'll actually be willing to own, 5 spd mated to the 4.0L straight 6 either the XJ Cherokee or the Wrangler, if I lived in the middle of Africa or Siberia where there are no roads
Awd sedans are ok but Suvs are better. you see above traffic, with rear seats in my kicks up i can put my 4winter or summer tires in the back without having to put the rear seat down while in every sedan iv had you have to fold the seat flat then shove them from the back through into the interior. The hatchback design on suvs is superior for cargo in every way over a sedan Modern crossovers are built the exact same as sedans unibody construction, a bit taller for easy entry and better visability. Theres a reason that once people use a crossover that no one goes back to a sedan. they are the new better version of cars. Sure sedans still handle a bit better at high speed because slightly lower but most people are not enthusiasts and dont give a sh*t about handling and performance. People want good visability, they dont wanna feel like they sitting on the floor when everyone else is much higher, they want it to comfortable, quiet, carry there stuff. Only people who still buy sedans think all suvs are like they used to be, trucks ..which is NOT the case. Only true suvs that still around are suburban, tahoe, expedition, armada, seqouia, bronco. Everything else is build like a sedan but superior in every way an they all punch above their class. A compact crossover is better than a compact car just like a full size crossover is better than a full size sedan

As a father of two kids, I can confirm that is false. I actually have much easier time with my hatchback because more headroom
I think i m the only one who loves SUVs
Why not a car that does all kinds of cars do. What mean is a SUV+Pickup+Sedan+Coupe car, I know that doesn't exist but hey maybe it exists in the future.
Sedan
SUVs are for those that dont care what they’re driving. A - B type of car
That Kona in lime green is really neat though
Sedan are the best than SUV. It to light than SUV
You didnt speak about advantages of sedans
Buy a wagon.
Get a motorcycle
*n O*
I got a Suzuki
In canada you'll only ride it for 2 months
Motor bikes are unsafe
Get a Cycle 😂.
always a sedan!
I have a Crossover and Convertible
Sedans are out of fashion ...
What about a 2007 lexus RX 400h
A SUV is like a sedan and a pickup had sex
Well this is kind if a pointless video. What manufacturer still makes sedans? I prefer a sedan for the styling but it seems the manufacturers and other customers have made the decision for me on my next vehicle purchase. I would prefer a midsize truck if I wanted something more capable.
I have learned nothing useful from the video.
I love the cuvs and suvs more than a sedan because it gives you good visibility.
the suv is
I don’t care about what people are saying it’s the suv for me amen!
Here's a 3 ft. x 3 ft. x 3 ft. box. Question answered.
@@cashw55 No matter what electronics you put, you can’t beat simple physics, sedans will ALWAYS be the better choice for control.
@@cashw55
4wd and mountable high profile tyres on SUVs beg to differ with your comment aswell.
4x0= Nothing
And weight is only your friend when you need traction outside of that, it's a problem. Also jacking up a car will never improve its agility. Why fight physics .
I prefer the CUV
❤️❤️❤️
Crossover
So bias

@@People-Business-And-Ideas driving ergonomics in suvs are pretty bad too as they are terrible for back and neck posture

Who would take a crossover with low profile road tires off-roading?
First
Awd sedans are ok but Suvs are better. you see above traffic, with rear seats in my kicks up i can put my 4winter or summer tires in the back without having to put the rear seat down while in every sedan iv had you have to fold the seat flat then shove them from the back through into the interior.
