I changed my point weight. Had to change the plunger button and limb bolt settings, because the arrow stiffness changed; Had to change the clicker, because arrow length changed; Had to change the brace height, because the limb positions changed. And you wonder why you end up with 60 different allen keys.
Early in my archery life my aim was suddenly thrown off and it took a while to realize it was a new shirt I was wearing that was tighter than usual! It's one of the things I love most about archery - how it amplifies tiny changes - very meditative and great for focus..!
I recently changed to the new EB tab. I was amazed how bad my shooting was when i started using it and how long it took to get my form back somewhat (about 8-10 practice sessions). After customizing the tab, shaping it to fit my hand and trimming the leather that cut into my chin i finally made friends with it. Love it now even! On a side note, as a trainer myself, i sometimes let an archer change something (tab or riser, or completely other bow) if this archer seems stuck in a certain process. When the archer is unable to change something because the movement is mostly unconscious, changing equipment can break the pattern and allow the archer to focus on the change itself.
Same for me. My bows are all 55 # and I do not know if my fingers are more sensitive than other people, however very few Tabs are thick enough to protect my fingers. I also tried different gloves and it does not work either. Fortunately, I have access to thick leather (2.1mm) and I learned to make them myself and I think I have resolved my problem. I only speak for myself, it is not the solution for everyone on the other hand.
Great, I’m not alone. Had the same recently when switch from beginner tap to a W&W EZ. All arrow moved far to the left. Ehhh ? Got a L-size one with actually lots leather in excess. Asked in a group and every one said: trim that leather. Did. And shots got better again. I feel with your coachee and you.
I use Archery Success on my phone. Record every shot. Just a note to saying something like 'new nock point' tells me a lot about the shoot. Being a compound shooter it can be even more difficult to track down the troubles so it's even more important to note the settings. Even then it's easy to forget little changes, which can add up quickly to take you from gold to red or blue, so just chatting about them is the best way to get on top.
I've said this before, but I will sometimes shoot considerably differently with two copies of the same bow (same make, model, poundage, arrows, etc). It's happened more than once. When I buy a new bow, I should get copies and return the one I don't shoot as well with.
I made my first finger tab with a shoe leather. Very comfortable. after 3years and a few tournaments, it finally torn and became unusable. Now i use cartel finger tab. Still getting used to the new tab
hahhaha i'm guilty of this, but i love going against the odd's and shooting at distance. Usually followed by lots of arrow searching and broken arrows. :-)

I have a button down shirt that really inhibits my drawing. I have to remember to not wear it on archery days.
You really are a sensei I’ve learned so much from war thunder to archery to accuracy! Thank you!!😂

Sébastien Raymond The new Brady E tab would probably help but the price is ridiculous.

Good points!
Could you do a video about Finger tab trimming then?
Thank you!
yay more experiment videos! :D
i always enjoy some random experiments!
Too bad there is no easy way to test out different tabs :'(
I moved the T bar of my Shibuya sight down so I could hit 70 m, when I went back to 18, it was noticeably different to hit gold.
That can get caused by the bar being tightend tilted/crooked. Check this for a better explanation ruclips.net/video/fJZXYWoe7xg/видео.html
