I feel like its not the problem about her technique, its just if the tone or mood of the song suits her voice. Her voice is very strong and thick, so thats why she pulls off high notes in some songs better than others. For example when you watch the recording process for "UNNIES - Shut up" (Sisters' slam dunk), her high notes sound good there, because the tone/mood of the whole song is very strong.

i don't understand why sm assigns such difficult parts to tiffany... in lion heart tiffany really struggled with those belted adlibs and it's a shame the company hadn't taken the state of her voice into consideration. with the loss of a main vocalist (jessica) tiffany has unfortunately been pushed to sing even more difficult parts, which i don't really get because seohyun is a better vocalist, yet she's extremely underutilized... it must be because tiffany has become really popular so they want her to be on the forefront as much as possible.

Tiffany strains a lot more than taeyeon. Tiffany strains after A#4 and shes a soprano. sopranos should be able to hit D5 with support. on top of that Tiffanys voice is nasal and its not unique. taeyeon strains after D5 which is ok and she got a cool rough tone. we have all heard similar voices before but taeyeons voice is definitely more unique than Tiffanys.

Rose's kindof incomparable, yg isn't really going for strong vocal notes much for her (too much pop music influence much YG?), i'm sure with proper practice and SONGS she can hit it, Jihyo yeah, i agree but then again i think any SNSD non vocalist member can be better than her, all SM artists are perfect. And I'm not being bias or anything, it's just THAT. HARD.
I haven't appreciated her vocals so much before, together with Seohyun's. But I started to like it and therefore one of my favorite voices now.

Tiffany is an amazing singer. Right now , it's safe to say she is the best after Taeyeon. She has proved her abilities in many lives example Beam Effect concert and Sketchbook covers , birthday live , , a lot of people just choose to be blind about it. She has good high , middle , and low registers with great delivery and voice. She improved a lot and her flaws will be belting and her nodules , belting for her can be unstable. However , it doesn't prove her to be a bad singer. When she belts , she might strain. But still she is a great singer and growing vocal abilities.

i have this weird feeling that they are making tiffany do the high notes because taeyeon's voice is almost strained.. tiffany and taeyeon please take care of your voices 😢😍
Tiffany strains a lot more than taeyeon. Tiffany strains after A#4 and shes a soprano. sopranos should be able to hit D5 with support. on top of that Tiffanys voice is nasal and its not unique. taeyeon strains after D5 which is ok and she got a cool rough tone. we have all heard similar voices before but taeyeons voice is definitely more unique than Tiffanys.
I love how even tho this whole video shows Tiffany CAN and DOES pull off High notes exceptionally people just can't fucking accept that and have to find low key shady ways to bring her down.

tbh tiffany is a great singer, it's just that she lacks the consistency given their reputation and its all because she doesn't get enough rest. she's always pushing herself and giving her all even if its not her schedule. like how she showed up for taeyeon's stage and probably supported her other member's performances too. tiffany is constantly working, barely getting the proper rest for her voice. especially with her surgical history :(( she just hasn't been the same. given her past conditions, she should give herself even more rest.

Her voice sounds powerful when she sings high notes and sometimes she's having a hard time. She can hit high notes and it's not out of her range because she can hit those notes. Stop saying that she's singing out of her range, it's just not hit with a good technique but it still sounds powerful. She needs to learn to control her voice, that's the reason why she's struggling but she can hit high notes, no doubt.
