Ooo... my favourite meal all rolled up as a hand food and not too much fussing around either. I make these add-ins in a biscuit usually and really enjoy them for breakfast. I shall have to give this recipe a try now and see how that tastes. Thanks again for a great recipe and video.
I have just watched this demonstration on how to prepare bacon, egg and cheese muffins. It looks easy to prepare and I can just imagine how tasty the muffins are. Greetings to you from Jamaica.
Used to have a franchise operation here what made 'Ham and Cheese' muffins. Always a bit on the salty/doughy biscuit side, but still my favourite. They went bankrupt, but I still love a good cheesy ham and cheese. Love it, Steve. A dab of homemade HP wouldn't go astray. 😊
Steve look so yummy im going to make these just leaving the egg out as I have intolerance to eggs I have to use egg powder in baking ... but a weekend plan for my kiddies there love them for breakfast and hubbie be pleased as well ... thanks for the great videos
Hey Steve! Just found you on youtube and wanted to say thank you very much for your recipe. I am a beginner ( in baking) and agree your recipe is super easy! Honestly love your base muffin recipe and am already thinking of other baked muffins to use it with. As far as these savory ones go they are freaking amazing! I think in the future I might exclude the boiled egg and reduce the sugar ( personal preference.) In my batch I used soy yogurt in the batter, Cooked bacon, and muffins using the George Foreman evolve for easier clean up!
Steve, Yes my comment was meant to go here not with the Oatmeal!! I'll repeat it here so the readers know! These muffins look wonderful and easy. I make some very similar but only mine replace the boiled egg with chopped black olives and a pinch of cayenne. They are great for picnics with fried/baked chicken!
That's kind of you to repeat it Barleycorn, it happens quite often to me when people have watched consecutive video, which is great to know also.. Thanks Steve
It's basically fries , cheese curds on top and gravy , and if you ever come to Canada you should visit Montreal and Quebec city , it's really gorgeous ,
I have seen it so many times and I know it's a special favourite to many in Canada, sometimes I just want to go somewhere to try it first :) Maybe I'll have to make it one day and spoil the surprise :o)
Steve you are Awesome I keep watching your Videos Over and over and it makes feel very good I do have a Request if you don't mind How about making a Canadian Classic "Poutine" your fan From Montreal Canada ,Dimitri
I love the Idea of doing Poutine, I have never had it but it always looks so good, I will make a note. thanks. I may have to go to Canada first to study the best Poitine. Steve
Hi, Steve. Those muffins look fantastic. What do you love about cakes? To me, it's fluffy and decadent. Have a good day, good buddy. Tell FunFoods I said hi.
I think they would Freeze well Marie, we took some on a trip a day or so later and they lasted well unfrozen for a day or two. Hope they are a Hit. Steve
Yes there is . It says for 1 cup of flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder. It seems rather too much and thought of asking you. You have some great mug recipes. Hope to see more of them. Thank you.
Got your reply but I have the spoons and it is 2.5 - 5 - 10 and 15 ml. In other words half a teaspoon, teaspoon, two teaspoons or one dessert spoon and a tablespoon aka soup spoon. You will find that all teaspoons hold the same amount of liquid regardless of their shape (As long as we ate talking level teaspoons.) I made your recipe and found it inaccurate, I am sorry to say. It was awfully sweet and measuring with a proper measuring cup, there was far too much flour even though I didn't pack it in. Also the texture of egg in it was not as great as anticipated. Still not all is lost because I can adapt the idea to suit my taste buds and I did like seeing how you make the muffin liners. So thank you.
Could you please punctuate, it's super hard for me to read the 100's of comments I get a day, let alone Paragraphs that roll and Roll. I am afraid I can not read further replies. I did make out that you think a Soup spoon is a Tablespoon?, that is not eave near correct and Teaspoons sold in shops today rarely meet the same size, there just is zero regulation to make that so, sorry. Just Google Measure spoons and you will see almost all better sets come with 1/2 Tbsp I have several sets and they all do.. What are you trying to prove here?
Thanks, I have never seen a decent set of spoon measurements sold anywhere in the world that does not include Tablespoons and a Half Tablespoon? If you have a proper Teaspoon Measuring set, it almost always comes with a 1/2 Tablespoon measure, if you are using a actual Teaspoon, that you stir your Tea with then you are in Trouble as they vary in almost every case.. Almost every Cookbook includes Tablespoons measurements , so I suggest get out and spend a dollar and buy one, without them, you really can't follow so many good Recipes.. ??
So this is the second time I used this recipe so this time I mess it up and use 1 cup of buttermilk instead of 1/2 gab the wrong cup 🤦🏾♀️it is currently in the oven I’m so upset hopes it still tastes good.
It's basically fries , cheese curds on top and gravy , and if you ever come to Canada you should visit Montreal and Quebec city , it's really gorgeous ,
Perfect..
Made these. You’re right they are delicious. I used slightly less sugar, such a good recipe
Thanks

1 tablespoon or 1 teaspoon baking powder? Thanks
I don't recall all my recipes so I write them all below the video.
Yes there is . It says for 1 cup of flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder. It seems rather too much and thought of asking you. You have some great mug recipes. Hope to see more of them. Thank you.
Half a tablespoon he says it's written in the recipe

does the sugar make the muffin sweet?
In this case it's just a flavour enhancer, so no.
Half a tablespoon is 1.5 teaspoons. I doubt anyone has a half tablespoon measure, so it is good to write it here to help them.
Thanks, I have never seen a decent set of spoon measurements sold anywhere in the world that does not include Tablespoons and a Half Tablespoon? The batter will be a little wet but don't worry, cook it a little longer and hopefully you might just get away with it, good luck.. :o)
It actually turned out really good thanks again for your amazing recipes it was so easy to follow😀
Sugar in a savoury muffins!!!????
It takes a smart mind to know why..
It's basically fries , cheese curds on top and gravy , and if you ever come to Canada you should visit Montreal and Quebec city , it's really gorgeous ,
