The Devil exists as much today as he did in the past. He continues to seduce mankind into sin. The attitude of a disciple of Christ must be vigilant and strong in any confrontation with Satan. You can not be indifferent to his existence. It seems the mentality of people today is to relegate the figure of the Devil into ancient mythology and folklore.
Baudelaire justly affirms that “The Masterpiece of Satan in the Modern Time” is to have people believe he does not exist. It is not easy, therefore, for many to imagine the recent appearance of Satan when he came from hell to fight against Padre Pio. These battles were bloody in nature, as described in many letters that Father Pio sent to his Spiritual Fathers.

What a gift it is to be assured that calling on Christ, saying Jesus' name is a mighty weapon from which satan and his lackeys must flee. Once I learned this from a woman who was my spiritual mentor, when I am on the cusp of falling back to sin, I say Christ's name aloud 3 times, and the temptation evaporates.

✝️ *Thank you for another informative & inspiring video!* ✝️ I recently attended a seminar regarding strategies to bring families back to the Catholic Church, especially the families of our CCD students.
The speaker was passionate about his love for God, but his way of expressing it really bothered me.
He repeatedly referred to Jesus as his lover, which would make, I think, many besides just me, very uncomfortable. Sharing that love of Jesus was one of his strategies.
His second, there were only two covered (because of the length of time he spent on the first) was self-mortification.
I understand the discipline & piety that comes from such acts, for example, fasting from food & other pleasurable activities. But when he used the phrase, self-mortification, to me it immediately reminded me of the Opus Dei Monk in, *"The DaVinci Code,"* who used leather straps embedded with sharp points as a means of suffering to offer up to God. Many people are familiar with that movie & that image, so again, this didn't seem like a viable strategy to get parents back to Church.
What motivates me, & I hope would also motivate parents who've strayed away, is the opportunity to watch & learn from *videos like yours!*
I believe *ignorance of the reality of God, a satan and the evil he deliberately inflicts upon us,* including thru the digital world, entertainment, media & the rich & powerful elites who are obsessed with getting even more wealth & power than they already have - is what leads our parents away.
The Internet, with all it's hazards, can bring together a WEALTH of information that only a few decades ago would never have been possible!
So please, continue your ministry to unite & inform as many as possible!

I don't believe this Padre. Could be the devil. But these stories come across as a self advertising man. No one questioned him. He was no way as far as I'm aware made a saint. May the Lord Jesus Christ forgive me if my accusations are untrue. His accounts don't line up with accounts from the church but rather from ghost hunters. Could be the devil trying to discredit him. Don't know.
