My aunt was devoted to Padre Pio and visited San Giovanni Rotundo many times. She received communion from him and even took one of my younger brothers to Italy to receive his first holy communion from the saint. After Padre Pio's death one of the monks gave her relics of Padre Pio including a pair of the fingerless woollen mittens he wore when saying mass. We often loan it to those who are ill and in need.
My father was named after Pio when born in 1923. That was the year Pio was excommunicated from the church. My grandparents still prayed to St.Pio and believed in him by naming my father after Pio. I took have been to San Giovanni Rotundo. My father's middle name is also Giovanni! I took pray to him often and seek his guidance. God bless you!!!

How beautiful. Have those people you loaned the gloves out to experienced healing? Maybe if they aren't familiar with him lending them a book about him too? He appeared to me in a dream and said that once you call upon him he never leaves you. When I woke up his books were stacked up on my kitchen counter near where I was sleeping. Those books had been in my office upstairs at the other end of the house.

@revelations2798 My aunt died 9 years ago but she said he appeared to her. She also experienced the smell of lavender which, I'm sure you know, was strongly associated with him, at times when she was seriously ill. She put her recovery down to him.

Padre PIO, was, a miraculous man I, had the the honor of singing at his induction to Saint Hood, he, was a humble man, He, built a great hospital in his town to heal the children, he's known for that.
