I’m from the south and our soups are Gumbo (New Orleans’ suck btw), Chili, a corn and seafood bisque(from a leftover boil) and vegetable soup generally. I’m now looking up recipes because y’all have me wanting all the soups!
Tier 3 - Corn soup, basically veggie soup with only corn and a bunch of meat. Us as kids didn't want all the other veggies. If you need to stretch it, add rice in your bowl or noodles. Tier 2 - Potato soup. Just the bomb. Tier 1 - I'd be extradited from Louisiana if I didn't say Gumbo.
