    I very much like the clarifications between S mount and Z mount. What makes a teacher great is his ability to not assume that the audience knows distinctions like that, and rather say things one time too much, rather than one time too little. Great details on the sweep!

    We are taught very similar to this, where you try to draw your opponent in/down with your legs, and when they posture up, you go with them and make the sweep fluid. Also, we are a Krav Maga gym, so we do no gi BJJ. Instead of grabbing the cuff of the sleeve, we overhand grip the outside of the elbow to keep him from basing. Awesome video.

    I love that sweep. I learned it from Johnny Ramirez 4 years ago in that variation and have found it to be very effective. But that straight arm Americana set sucks. I get my hips low and push with my elbows being driven by my hips and it has a better probability of succeeding.
