Thank you so much for your clarity in your broadcast on this interesting highway development. All over the world, anyone who understands and speaks the English language will follow you with consummate ease. More like you we need .🤝👍
Thank you George Edwards for the encouragement; as our team have been working hard to offer as much clarity as possible; however, not everyone appreciates the effort. We will try to present a balanced presentation as we continue. Thanks for being apart of the RoadTripJa Family.
This channel is a cut above the all the other that i have seen doing video with the same content.Well done Sir...Thanks for keeping us in the diaspora informed of what is happening in Jamaica as it unfold. .
Indeed, we are truly humbled that you are pleased with the clarity of the content presented. It would not have been possible without the insight’s, guidance and vision of our producer. It is comments and appreciation like these which encourage us to move forward as we continually increase the quality, information and clarity for the purpose of transparency and accountability as we together create history.
Good Day Robert A Wallace, Indeed we will continue to share the developments so the changes can be seen internationally. Thanks for being apart of the RoadTripJa family!
Thanks for the video highlighting the true nature of the roadway. I ignored the vehicles moving backwards, though...reverse shots don't work with things that move in a natural direction, as you figured out. Anyway, what is quite clear to me is that this road near Roselle will not survive a storm. The waves are already brushing dangerously on those rocks. Even if they raise the road 10 feet, they will need to put in a sea wall...it's inevitable.
Yes, your input has been welcome. What you have stated about the sea wall . . ., they are already working on having that in place. The Roselle area is one that often time flood during the hurricane season. It is the hope that the engineering design has accounted for this. We have not gotten our hands on the plan; hence we cannot say how the road will be designed definitively.
The narrative presented on the news about Jamaica is far from the true reflection. Sometimes, we feel like Jamaica is somewhere else because the violence and the constant killing is normally isolated in government communities. Jamaica is a safe place, especially depending on where you are located.
Greetings, Thanks for your observation and notation. We were working on getting a cinematic experience so it was not just watching the road. We will try another time to perfect the design.
We are working on getting as much footage as possible; however, we are constrained by time, wind and weather conditions. We will try to get images that are worth more than words.
@@RoadTripJA I'm looking forward to that. Heard they say they cannot do anything until the pipes they laid are tested satisfactorily. So ax soon as they are satisfied more work will be done. Hearsay...
Why not bring the road further away from the sea? With rising sea levels and future natural disasters this development will be in danger before we know it.
I think retaining walls and large boulders to break waves will be used. You can easily see that the road is too close to sea level. They need to excavate the right side of the road to widen the highway.
Highway robbery going on. Money keeps pumping in the project and the only thing that is happening is the digging up of the road and setting traps for motorist. Even new cars you hear rattling and clanging due to the mess they call road. Nothing is being done. Just digging digging digging. When they are finished they don't try to smooth it over. They leave some huge gaping potholes in the thing they call road. It's a mess! *THIS NEEDS AUDITING!*
I think an audit needed to be done before it started. Time for the project has been extended, money has gone over budget, inconvenience extended. This seems like works of politics; however, we need to verify with an audit, because there are deals and things that we don't know about.

Some of us can switch but it’s s not always about native Jamaicans or those in the diaspora. The attraction goes much wider than that

We both enjoy the look.

You are welcome.
It is indeed a delight to share in the experiences together.
Love the video

Sir this is a great video except for the vehicles running backwards

Someone needs to do a video and show the mess that is happening. Show, close up, how the roads are dug up for miles! 🤦♀️

The probability exists, let us hope that we have no disaster any time soon.
That would be a waste of $20 + Billion.
So will they build any retaining walls or heighten the road above its current level or you dont have any information on that yet
