    I still long to build a yurt, but until I can manifest it, my tiny home is a Skoolie I converted myself. Still, there's just something majestic and magickal about a yurt. This one is cozy.

      Manifest….. you mean afford? Doesn’t come from “luck,” comes from hard work and good money management.

      @@japlunkett6789 You didn't hear the part of the video where the women mentions wood harvested from "my childhood property"? These people were born rich, I know the dude was acting like they don't "have a lot of money" but they were able to build all of this shit themselves and somehow live and eat in the meantime. What do you mean it doesn't come from luck? There's nothing luckier than being born rich enough to do that.

    I found the chapters in ruclips.net/user/postUgkxYGamVaHfdHiPlAQaLa7zkwR02OKpGYDU to be very relevant to my project as I embarked on building my first ever structure from the ground up. I especially found this Ryan’s Shed Plans to be of great use when it came to building the roof. I was able to do all the cuts and installation by myself, with a little reference to this Ryan’s Shed Plans.

    I know even sturdy houses crumble during a tornado......but that one would completely disintegrate. With all these natural disasters happening all the time....I hope that was put in a relatively safe place :)

      Yurts are aerodynamic compared to traditional houses. No eaves or flat walls for wind to catch on. They’re rated for up to 140 mph if you brace it properly

    • @lunawense6288
      @lunawense6288 8 месяцев назад

      Honestly this structure probably has a much better chance than a framed home with square angles and flat walls everywhere. Assuming this things properly anchored the circular structure is giving the tornado a run for its money. Realistically though if you are in an actual tornado area and don't have a cheap tornado shelter you're pretty much screwed in anything that isn't a 2 story masonry building.
