They are big employers of labour. The ones I know have industries that many of the critics will be happy to work in. Some have oil servicing companies, industrial cranes, etc. and are major players in the downstream petroleum sector. The problem is that too many people are too poor to see the opportunities in Nigeria. They are busy praying and paying tithe instead of applying themselves as if Japan, US, Israel, Europe, Canada and other developed nations got where they are through night vigils, prayers, fasting and paying tithes to scammers/fraudster a masquerading as pastors.
