- 1996 Ford Bronco with a efi mfa obII converted 460 with a comp thumper cam, some light head work, roller rockers, headers. Also has 79 Dana 60 front and a Dana 70 rear, lockers, 38" toyos, deaver springs, cage arms, and a bunch of other off road goodies. You can see the build on fullsizebronco.com
Bronco has about 8" of lift over stock. The dual battery tray is from Ruffstuff specialties, as is a lot of other parts on it.
Nice sounding truck.
I'm currently doing a cam swap in my MAF 460 wondering what you might have gotten figured out as far as how big a cam can be run on these engines without deviating from stock pushrod length and valve springs? Also did you have this tuned after your upgrades? I did annOBD1 MAF conversion with a fox body mustang ECM and have a tweecer unit on it for tuning
Hey looking at doing a MAF in my 1992 460. Just curious what your thoughts are on yours. Not a lot of people that have done that.
are you running a stall for the cam?
I really like the dual battery set up any tips on how you did it
RoadHammer3406E I was thinking the same thing
i have a duel set up on mine as well its very handy :D
Not sure what your looking for. It's a ruffstuff specialties dual mount and using a painless kit for control, and I made the leads from 3/0 wire.
Size rim
What all did the MAF conversion consist of? I have a 96 also that I’m wanting to cam but it’s speed density
All 96 broncos are MAF obdII. 94 and up 302 broncos are MAF.
Dustyn's Fergie Fab I wish they would have done all the pickups that way
@@pollock2013 Only 96-97 F250/F350 from CA are MAF obdII. That's what I got my 460 MAF parts from.
Dustyn's Fergie Fab yeah, I’ve looked into trying to do a conversion from the Cali trucks but everything is hard to find
@@pollock2013 Yes because there are very few of them out there and I tend to buy the parts when I find them. I have a few ECMs now. There is a junkyard in Reno NV that has one. I have the ECM and ZF5 speed from it but it has everything else still.
how much lift
Nice bronco just out of curiousity what you got done to the motor cam, advanced timing an is that a Maf conversion
Comp thumper cam, some head work, stockish timing 12.5*, MAF OBII conversion using stock ford parts.
Love the stance what rims are those
What transmission are you running?
Anybody know what the hood vent, scoop things are? Been trying to find them but i cant lol
They are for jeeps, my buddy had them made bigger for the bronco. On ebay I think
how you connected the fan without it being direct. and is it 2 speeds or just one ?????
2 speed
How difficult was that swap?
It's hard to say, depending on your skills. For me not that hard, other than a small learning curve on the obII. But I have done 4-5 460 swaps now.
overall with the 460s. what are the real world gains ??
what size maf are you running?
