Hi All, I used this product (Stabilizer Pro) on my car VW Vento 1.6 TDI. After one year, i have to replace Front strut, link rod, lower arm. The reason is car manufacturer done lot of R&D and design the suspension parts based on load. When we use this kind of product, coil spring action will be reduced, hence we are feeling good cornoring, high speed stability. But because the reduced action in Coil spring and front strut transfer most of the force to other parts like link rod (Main for stability as this will attached to Anti roll bar and front strut), lower Arm. Due to excess load, these parts going to get damaged. Since this parts get damaged, over a period of time front strut also going bad.
But i am not saying this product is bad. We can use this in read suspension coil. This help to reduce the floating effect. At the same time, most of the cars dont have complex rear suspension setup, hence damage will be less. I am using currently in rear suspension and its good.
If any one wants proper solution, instead of spending 10K for this, they can go for stiffer strut (for front) and Shock Absorber (Rear). Might need to spend bit extra, but that will be long term solution. Refer below links

I have installed this in Baleno and swift. The ground clearance has vastly improved. The swift handling is awesome during cornering. In Baleno side to side movement is arrested. The product is highly advisable for hatchbacks used in rural areas having low ground clearance..

For certain Cars this is not advisable. We have tried in Innova. Suspension became hard. But when this was used in Etios Liva , this was very useful.

Because of this small hardness you are getting those results. More Hardness also have some other reasons like Tyre condition, shock absorber and spring condition, Tyre pressure, Tyre up size etc...

Before one year ji after you fixed I tried for my i20 ground clearance improved ,body vibration also reduced felt much difference in comfort especially hard roads usefull product jii . only thing product cost is bit higher brought it for 12 k size vary for front and back. Birla sir, it's not very expensive to over haul your suspension as you think,The major problem is when you have to change your lowerarm, in MacPherson suspension, bending takes place when you drop it into a large pothole at moderate or high speed or hit against a platform at even slow speed. You can easily identify that as your castor will get closed, when it's a major blow oneside castor will close and another side it will open. Always replace your ball joint, tie rod end inner and outer every 30 thousand kms if you are driving in or out of the city on highways but if you do off road trips the wear and tear can be very fast everything can get worn out even in less than 7 to 8 thousand kms.. please remember that a car is not built for off roads. REPLACE your front coil springs every 10 years IRRESPECTIVE of the number of kms your vehicle has clicked. But but but if you drive off roads you may require replacement in 3 or 3 and half years to be secure when you drive on the highway eventhough you maynot have clocked 5 or 6 thousand kms. One more reason for spring fractures other than service men opening the compressed coil or tempering it, is to keep it compressed in a puller type of spring compressor until the shocks are rebuilt or replaced. It has been the cause for spring fractures in the workshop or soon after delivery.Always hire a mechanic to do the job at your home, get parts replacement in front of your eyes,never give them the keys asking them to take the car, you never know what happens in your absentia.
Bro, I'm asking you this since you seem to have more technical knowledge on the suspension stuff. Please take few mins to help me out.
I have a 2017(Oct) model ford figo. Car is 7y old but only 30k kms run. I haven't done "off-roading" but right from the beginning due to low ground clearance, the car floor has scraped in many places especially when 3-5 members or sitting or when the road has multiple abnormal potholes (common in under developed suburbs). I've mentioned this in service center asked them to take a look on the under chassis to see if anything has been broken. They said everything looks fine. Now recently a few months back, I'm feeling even smaller bumps a lot more at moderate speed. I have to slow down very much even for small bumps. And listening to the suspension outside, there's audible creaking noise when the car is shaking. The service center has told me that I need to replace suspension.
Only 30k kms and I have to incur this huge cost which I think happened because too many hits to the floor due to low ground clearance. What is the best course of action for me out of the below three?
1) replace new suspension
2) rework the existing suspension based on Mr. Birlas another video
3) replace new suspension and install this glorified rubber

@@darkrac2 sir, from what you say that the car has clocked only 30 k kms and the car is only 7 years old you don't have to touch your rear suspension at all please check if rear shocks are weak , you can recondition them on a one time basis provided the place you get them reconditioned is equipped with nitrogen gas charging, rear coil springs need not be changed, I suggest you to go for coil spring pad than the buffer, buffer will give you a smoother ride but you will get better height when 3 passengers sit at the rear with coil spring pads go for the last oversize. To cut down on cost you can go to some one like Muthu shock absorbers who have people to dismantle and assemble and it works out cheaper but when ever you go to any mechanic please ask him to release the puller which compresses the springs , these fellows compress it with puller and the spring is compressed for more than an hour this is not the load it can take it's compressed to an inch more than how much it can take or is built to take this causes premature deformation. Regarding the front you don't have to replace the lower arm for the kind of usage you described just change the bushes , recondition the front shocks and replace the strut mounting , please go for Gabriel, bearing and bumpstop stop come in a kit even that go for Gabriel.if you want to replace shocks go for Munroe, If this bouncing and banging is not more than a couple of months then don't replace the spring but if it's more than a couple of months or if you are a driver pulling it on the highway please replace the front coil springs along with the lower ball joint. Your inner tie rods won't require replacement for your mileage that you vehicle clocked but you need to replace the outer tierods. Outer tierods and ball joints you can go for rane, Munroe or Gabriel. You are done.please get the work done under your supervision. For front you can go for a spring buffer but not the extrahard ones just go for the flexible ones. Rack bushings need to be inspected when you change outer tie rod and lower ball joints.

A coil spring buffer, also known as a coil spring damper or spring cushion, is an aftermarket product mounted on a coil spring component in a car suspension. Generally, this spring buffer is made of rubber, polyurethane, or silicone, which is attached right between the spring rods of the coil spring.
Based on its use, this spring buffer has a function similar to the strut bump stopper installed in the middle of the shock absorber rod. However, specifically for this aftermarket spring buffer, it is installed in the coil spring.
If the strut bump stopper will directly collide with the shock absorber, the coil spring buffer is only squeezed between the coil spring rods.
Because this coil spring buffer is an aftermarket product, it also has pros and cons for a car suspension system. This article will share information about a car coil spring buffer pros and cons, functions, the benefits and drawbacks of a car suspension.

C. Reduces the effect of subsidence suspension
The benefit of using a spring buffer on other coil springs is that the spring buffer can reduce the effect of a sinking suspension. The sinking suspension effect usually occurs due to several things, such as overloading, passing through a fairly deep pothole, and others.
This subsidence suspension effect will cause an impact on the shock absorber so that it will cause a booming sound in the suspension and make the wheels touch on the car body.
By installing a spring buffer on the coil spring, it can reduce this subsidence suspension effect. It means that the coil spring buffer can minimize the noise of the suspension due to the impact of the shock absorber and the wheels.
D. Reduce braking distance
The last benefit of using this spring buffer is that the spring buffer can reduce the braking distance. Although not too significant, the spring buffer can reduce the symptoms of a dip at the vehicle's front end, especially when doing "panic braking" or sudden braking.

As we know earlier, the shock absorber's workload becomes lighter due to the installation of this spring buffer. It is not because the shock absorber has strengthened, but rather because the workload that the shock absorber should have absorbed is transferred to other suspension components.

Bro, I installed in my Vento a week ago, just after replacing my struts and mounts. Sadly not able to feel any difference. Already Vento suspension is heavy, and I honestly think this will not make a difference in VW Skoda cars.

Keep an eye on tyre wear as i saw major wear post installing this in my ertiga. When questioned they seems to know its an issue as my car got new tyres just 6 months ago and it was all new. Corrected alignement everything seems to be fine but tyre wear is major issue. Product is good when you are using in rural areas and concreate roads and rubber humps around 25kphr speed, highway curves body roll is taken care.

@birla sir. Thank you for this video. I have one technical question. I have Honda jazz. This car comes with a soft suspension. Even in just small bumps, you could feel roll inside and it makes little uncomfortable. I installed this car stabiliser pro before 3 months. As soon as I installed, for 2 weeks, I was feeling so much difference (wow). But after 2 weeks, I feel like getting kicked when going on bumpy roads. It feels like your car have a hard suspension. When I researched, I came to know that, the feel would vary depending on the position the stabiliser is installed. I installed in the middle. If we install that little bit higher, there would be more spring action while pressure is from the wheels. I know this video is already published. Is it possible to check with this person and let us know what will be the differences if the install this stabiliser in top, middle and bottom portion of suspension? Whether this is right and recommended to install in top and bottom portion? If yes, then for what kind of cars it is suggested to install in top, middle and bottom portion of suspension? And whether the size of the stabiliser differs depending on this position?

Same issue with Jazz. The Jazz suspension is actually excellent for comfort and only reason I plonked this rubber was for increased Ground Clearance since it was hitting the speed breakers more than my Honda City 4th Gen!!! However after a few months the ride became too bumpy for my liking like a Maruti almost!!!. I finally got fed up and removed the raiser rubber few days back *after* this video was released. So far so good. I reckon I just have to careful on the stupid speed breakers

10000 for a simple silicon rubber is too costlier. Manufacturing cost shd be below 200 rs. It does not have any moving parts. Its a simple silicon moulding…
It's not simple silicon sir... Premium quality silicon and many other chemicals are there, imported from Germany and China. Please don't think we are taking extra profit from any undervalued product. You will get cheap quality buffer for very lesser price.

anna, well said example at 10:27. I fixed it (rogerab) for my SELTOS IVT, though it didnt make a huge difference, the ride has actually become stiffer

Correct...same with my Jazz. The ultra smooth suspension became stiffer. The suspension earlier was almost like Air suspension on those volvo buses. Now the bumps are more pronounced. Only advantage of this rubber is a few mm of Ground Clearance.

@@farisincube. because of over action and softness body rolling and low stability is happening... To reduce this we have to make suspension little stiffer without any sacrifice in comfort. Very little stiffness in the spring will not create any discomfort to your car.

Its not mandatory but makes sense to change all 4 tyres. This is more important if they had done quite a mileage(lets say in thousands of kms).

Hi I have installed car stabilizer pro after watching your reviews..installed in renault kiger..i had issues from day 1..first the front left rubber came out and I had to reinstall it and next time the front right rubber came out and lost it in the road while going on a long drive...need to claim the warranty...spent 10 k for this :-(
