Yeah, in the 90s lots of black folks had their own shows and hosting opportunities, it's kind of died down since. Sinbad had a sitcom and he hosted a talk show. Robert Townsend had a few shows, Queen Latifah for a while, Chris Rock (on HBO, think Dave Chappelle show before Dave), Magic Johnson, even Vanessa from the Cosby Show. Not all of them did well.
Can you imagine how it is around the holidays or family reunion with the Wayans? It would be non stop laughter.
