Any time someone says you're bad at a game, just remind yourself you're entertaining at games, and that's why they pay you the bucks. If anything, games are meant to be entertaining, not optimized.

Have you placed SimCity Societies? I feel like that would be right up your alley. Used to really enjoy that game when I was younger. Definitely enjoyed making dystopias and monk communes. I very rarely hear it talked about.

* Scam park is a special type of park where you allow only one route between home and work and study and commercial where cims need to travel, they will travel on foot and they will pay the fee and walk bringing in 5..20x profits. Use a segment of motorway to disallow them using free public roads and force them into the park.

I remember experimenting with this game and I believe you can make an intake pipe that leads to nowhere (not near buildings) to pump out polluted water. You might need a couple, its slow. I'm not sure if you would consider that a cheese but it would probably be cheaper than throwing land at it constantly.
When you started the stream I was going to skip very fast but after 10 min I was in stitches and watched the whole stream great vid/stream lol

I love watching people who don't understand how cities skylines works at a high level of mechanics mastery play the game and have to feel their way through the systems and mechanics, trying to make sense of it. This game is so complex and hard to learn, but man is it rewarding to slowly master the mechanics. Quite a few choices AA made made me physically flinch, though. I wonder if there is a master guide written out about Cities Skylines meant to make all the different mechanics more easily digestible for new players. If not, I'm genuinely surprised but I also know the thing would be as thick as a dictionary.

Can one make an multiple island city?
I always turn industry zones into far off, crappy looking dirt road complexes that branch off of 6 Lane 1 way toll booths in both directions
They get to the city and drop off their goods at the commercial areas, never treading into the residential area
Basically, we hate the industry

Cute idea of the challenge but as the island became quite large it should not have been 3 separate peninsulas of things. If you think about how far people would be driving to work or for services from far end of residential to far end of commercial or even far end of industrial it's far. Industrial is OK cause in real life people will travel longer and work longer hours with industrial jobs more often but it still likely has a few small nighboorhoods and a couple of markets in it and same eith some shopping In more Residential areas and some residential inside more shopping areas once they become large and more than 15 minutes average away. It should be rare to spend more than that to get basic needs atleast with personal transportation.
