Both my boys (7 and 4 years old) have been using PVC bows since they could stand and draw. I learned how to make each of the different styles of bows, arrows, fetchings and strings from your channel and books.Thank you for all the great lessons, and the memories they've help us make.
I want you to know; I built my 1st bow to your videos. It was the horse bow w/wooden siyahs. I built it in 2013. It finally broke last weekend. I have a 28"/30" (European / thumb draw, respectively) Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I'm so glad you're back!
My gf and I straight screamed “OMG YAAY!” When I showed her the video. I’ve made bows for fun for myself and years after for our son, all thanks to you. So awesome you’re back, we left a light on waiting for ya.
Finally working on my first bow after buying a heat gum two years ago! My favorite part of this video is when you hear (clearly a very cool) kid ask to be in the class. Thanks again for your work!
Glad to see you back in the saddle again. I have never even tried to build any of your bows but I sure do love to watch you making them. Don't disappear.
Nicely done,Nick. I am 80 yrs old, a has been bowyer. I shot a bear with a Bear Recurve as a young man. I am going to follow your instructions and build this bow.
I enjoyed it immensely, but the best was the sound of your children around you as you worked and your father heart so evident in your voice as you interacted with them
I never liked making or wanted to make a PVC bow, but watching your videos, have opened my eyes to making a bow. I will start making one in the next few weeks, enjoyed this video a lot, so thank you very much., God bless you and your family.......
You are an outstanding teacher and craftsman. I have shaped my share of pvc working in the electrical trade. We would block at least one of the pvc with duck tape, so as to hold the heat in and heat from the inside also. Saves around 50% of heating time.
As you can see, you're well-loved in the community! We have all missed you and its good to get another awesome video! You look amazing! Lost a little weight, added a few years of wisdom and back to a crowd that's missed you! I eagerly, along with everyone else, await your return to enlighten us with new video's! Well done!!
Now I don't know what is crazier, grilling a PVC pipe in the garden or watching it on RUclips for 50 minutes? The result is great but looks like a lot of hard work. Very nice string making. Greetings from Germany
There are to few low tech videos on crafts. I mean low tech in the best possible way. A lot of people can not buy tools for different reasons. Love this. Thank you
Always loved these bows. Thanks Nick. My first time pvc bow was the 90 lb . Way too tough. A friend broke it stringing it up. I am going to try this one. I made a wood flat bow from American ash. That was fun but only ended up at 35 lb cause I was too cautious trying not to break it. Got some more ash to try again. Such a great hobby for me! Thanks again for the joy you bring!
Such a master. So many subtilties in everything you do Nick. Thank you for beginning to share your depth of knowledge and experience with us again. Such a calm spirit and confidence. Thanks man.
Want to thank you for all the time you put into sharing your knowledge my friend. Many of us are broke and can't afford much beyond the pvc pipe..you show us were there is a will there is a way..Stay safe and keep sharing all that knowledge bud it truly is helpful💖🙂
Welcome back nick its been dang near a year since your last video I have learned so much from you and now everyone of my nephews has a PVC bow off of your designs thank you so much for being you.
have you tried using steam to heat up pvc? or even heated up sand or boiling water to distribute even heating throughout the pipe? (edit: pls like this comment so he can reply)

Thanks, Nick. I looked at a lot of your videos before I built my first PVC bow. This is the one I built. It shoots pretty consistent, but I think it needs some fine tuning. Thanks, again. I love your content.
How cool to have you back here. I never built a pvc bow myself, i just find your videos deeply relaxing. And in addition, the „Hey fellow backyard-bowyers, Nick here“ was a kind of a trademark. :-)
I knew this year couldn't be all bad!!! Just in case you don't know I love you and your work, I have copied so much you do! Please don't go away again!!
I had watched your videos for the longest and I am so glad you are back. I've made three of your lighter recurved bows and this one hits the spot for me currently, but in about 40 pound pull. Thanks for being back and I look forward to seeing what you come up with for the future.
Enjoying your videos, and not just the bow ones. Hope you are well and having a great Father's Day. Happy Father's Day. Hope to see more content in the future. Enjoy the videos very much.

OH MY GOD! Nick's back!
Is this a sign of 2020 getting better? :O
As they always say, ‘’there’s light at the end of a dark tunnel’’
Is it a sign we should all make pvc bows and that the apocalypse is coming?
