Sweden already has enough prem so putting it as standard tree is the right call, plus I hope the current KV-1B from Germany its picked up and dropped in the Swedish tree cus its Finnish & the standard tree gets a regular KV-1B too.

Finland’s tech tree is probably going to have new anti aircraft vehicles and armored vehicles, also the BT-42 is pretty cool

Also I'm pretty sure it will be a sub tree under Swedish tech tree bc we don't really make any of our military equipment (except some guns and PASI:s) ouh yeah and if there will be modern ships then we have some designs that are our own

I did not expect Finland to get promo'd in this trailer. Very excited for it, as long as there isn't an event where we have to spend multiple days non-stop to get the vehicle we want.

I like that gaijin is adding new nations to the game, but as a Spanish-speaking player I would like them to include a technological tree of a nation that handles this language, Spain, Argentina and Chile have great potential for a large technological tree since their past war is considerable, especially Argentina and Spain. Hopefully war thunder read my comment.
The upgraded sherman tanks with modern cannons, along with updated m24 chaffees with the same cannon

For that matter, having the commander actually pop out of the turret when you're in third person would be nice. I know it's possible; they did it in Enlisted.
Oh, and ability to eject a round without firing (if you need to switch)
Was looking forward to FInnish sub-tree because of their Patria vehicles which is essentially the wheeled versions of the CV90 with a bunch of variant options and modified vehicles they got from other nations, such as the BT-42 + the modified T-55M, BMP-2 and the marksman turret which were used on T-55/Leopard 2 chassies
Hopefully their ASRAD-R will replace the current one ingame which uses the M113 hull which was only for testing purposes and bring us some other SPAA for the 4.3-8.7 gap we currently have

The last 3 update trailers all showed off highly requested or unique new vehicles, this showed off a bunch of vehicles we’ve had for years but with a new skin
I mean they are getting kinda close to modern day especially with tanks where not going to get an amazing new vehicle every update

Honestly even as a person from Finland I'm not so excited about this change... A large majority of the competitive vehicles in the Finnish tech tree already exist in others and the vehicles like patria pasi with a 20mm gun used by Finnish peacekeeping forces in Bosnia could also be added into the French tech tree with a UN color scheme. Personally I think gaijin should focus on improving the core gameplay of war thunder and the existing nations. However only time will tell how this will end up working out.
There are better tech trees to add too like poland-czech tree or Yugoslavia. A south america tech tree could also be fairly interesting.
I think Finland is a subtree to Sweden, so not a new nation just more vehicles for Sweden

Been meaning to get back into the Swedish tree but the BR gaps made it really un-fun to play later on. Hopefully this will patch up the holes in the tech tree nicely.
I am a swedish main. I think more tanks should be added in the mid tier (5.3-5.7;6.3-6.7), which is basically what is missing
Same, that jump from 5.0 to 7.0 has been the vain of my existence.
@@ammc2004 I'd even go from 4.0-6.7 At most BRs you only have one practical tank to use, and then the best tank from the BR below it. Like being 5.0, havint the Delat Torn, but also running the PVKV II cause the other stuff just aint up to snuff.
@@ammc2004 With the vehicles shown in the trailer, the PT-76, Comet, and Charioteer will help plug that gap. We'll see about the T-54/55 which version it is but that could be anywhere between 7.3 to 8.0 BR, hopefully the lower.
@@BobWill1846 .normally I don't play 5.0 because I often play 5.3 and 5.7, just take the Strv 74, the Strv DT, the pvkv 2 and the plane with 57 cannon and i always get 6+ Kills just with the Strv 74 and the plane, but yes it would bem Nice to have more 4.0-5.0 for begginers on the nation

Well, Finland will probably be a dedicated branch in the Swedish TT. The vehicles shown wouldn't be enough for a separate nation tree, unless there's more coming this update.
What nation do you feel would be exciting? Which do you think could add new flavor and vehicles in either ww2 or modern combat? Korea? Outside of that I don't see anything that would add anything new. Most countries buy from what's in the game already. Very few make their own.

"Cool maps"? Did you even play WT last time? What they are doing to the maps is as far from "cool" as possible. We are basically getting "Realistic Battles" remade into arcade without markers.
And they adding to the game "nice effects" basically always ends to me with having performance dropping below 30 or even 20 FPS, as everything in this game is basically tested during production. Thank you for such "nice effects". A very basic amount of the game client stability is the only nice effect that I wish for, yet since "New Power"(nearly 2 years already) something like this is actually rare.

@@gatogordo4961 Yes, but there's a lot of original vehicles like the AAC, MC-36, Verdeja light tanks, BMR and VAMTAC variants (TD, AA...), ASCOD IFV and TD, HA-200 Saeta, C-101 Aviojet, HA-1112 Buchón, CASA 2.111...
And then multiple unique modifications from foreign vehicles and numerous prototypes that would fill very fun and unique roles in the game (Equivalents to the M901 ITV, Rocket launcher trucks, etc.).

As a Finn, I just realised how scary Finnish sounds compared to the other nordic languages
i think this will round out the swedish line ups pretty nice tbh. Even if it copy paste for most vehicles it is still nice to have some of these things in the game and to help make the swedish tree more fun. Maybe they will finally balance the repair costs too to get more people playing this.

@@amiloes2 more or less like the south african line in the british tree. dont think they will make another nordic nation just for finland. Perhaps they rename it to nordic/scandinavia or such to include denmark and norway too

@Doom true though they did seem to forget about less popular trees in econ balancing. If a lot more new players try out Sweden and lower the statistics a bit since they have a German Soviet hybrid early on tree now (t34 and tiger in same lineups) it may lower the statistics and make gaijin consider some balancing which will spill over to old swedish vehicles which to this point have been played as a side tree by more experienced players.
I think that Irish equipment in the British tech tree would be cool, even if it’s just skins.

On the other hand that could be being caused by the ddos problem. A lot of people are probably avoiding the game due to that. I don't doubt that the game is failing, but I can't see a game losing that many people in that short of a time purely because of the game being garbage.

Hell yeah! This has been my most awaited addition to the game ever since sweden came out, I've researched the entirety of their planes and tanks, but I can't wait for them to finally be fleshed out some more!
