what they did is called insurance fraud. you dont need to hire a lawyer u just take that video to the insurance company they sued and 100% they will take care of the rest, even clearing ur names and records.

Just bring the video to your insurance company and let them take care of it. They paid these fraudsters and they can go after them using the video as evidence. You don’t need to sue them, the insurance company will do their job

I don’t think it was a scam and it was an accident. Accidents happen all the time. Have them sign a waiver next time. Everywhere and everyone (doctors, gym, etc) have patients/customers sign waivers.

I just want to add that not every “txiv/niam neeb” is like what the teller said. At the same I don’t agree with tus “niam neeb” did either. Unforeseen thing do happens. Both parties should have consulted with each other and find a mutual solution. A lot of the comments keep referring to niam neeb” as a scam artist and talking advantage of others. I just don’t see any evidence to indicate that. I have never heard such a thing as having a “txiv/niam neeb” sign a waiver before ua neeb. Yes, the cost was little too much. What I want to know is that did the person wanting the ua neeb ask tus niam neeb about the cost? Tus niam neeb was not the person that initiated the contact. Yes, I agree that this incident is a learning lesson for everyone but calling tus niam neeb as fake and a scammer, I don’t agree.
