Very nice Doug, I have a few I have grown from seed and they are growing very fast compared to the wild and many many branches, will have to get some light in there. Another one I collected last November from a volcano on a Christmas tree permit for $10, just chopped the top to get it down to a more compact size, it is budding all over so excited to see it next spring.
Mauro, great video...living in the PNW we have a ton of doug fir, I really need to try and make some into bonsai. One thing of note the Douglas Fir while in the family Pinacea is not actually a spruce or a true fir tree but a separate species.
Hi Mauro, you've created another beautiful tree again, love your work, should I call you Michaelangelo of Bonsai. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much I really appreciate your support
Bello lavoro Maestro
De árboles difíciles haces maravillas. Gracias por enseñarnos tus trabajos.

@@MauroStemberger cierto pero no veo un gran ficus o un mangle botton o algo así , por cierto la jaboticaba muy bonita 👌
Very nice Mauro😎, a stunning powerful tree. Was this recent or on a previous visit?
The work is from september 2019

Can someone tell me what all the nails in the substrate are doing?
Fery good.....good...
Thank you, first.
Is this a specimen that could ever be show worthy? If so how many years before so? If not why?
Sure it will be in 3/4 years
Mauro, I noticed the rusted nails.. are they acting like fertilisers ?..
